I finally made it to my locker without being noticed by everyone , but what still bothered me was that whole "Ron scene" in class. I mean what would cause him to interupt me like that and steal my glory. That was my moment. As my locker break time started to tick away, I decided to dig through some of my old binders and notebooks. "There are too many of these in here," I exclaimed as I looked through my dumpster of a locker,"I wish someone would help me clean this mess!" "Maybe I can help.." a voice mumbled behind me. I turned around and glanced to see that Ron the know-at-all was standing in front of me. "Uhh, can I help you with something?" I asked as I rolled my eyes. "I thought you might needed some help cleaning out your locker, it looks pretty bad." Ron replied as he pointed out my locker's flaws. "Hey! It's not perfect you know!" I stammered back. However as I was being defensive and witty, Ron laughed his butt off. "What's soo hilarious?!?" I yelled as I clentched my fists. "I don't know, you just make me smile and laugh.." Ron hesitated. No one has ever said that to me before. Actually, no one has ever been nice to me ever since my father passed away. After I turned 6, my father suffered from heart attack and we rushed him to the hospital. By the time the doctors were ready for an operation, he was already gone. His death totally toyed with my life and now my mother can't even take care of herself. "You okay?" Ron worriedly asked as he got mixed in with my thoughts. "Um yeah, I'm alright. I just was thinking of the past.." I mumbled and stared at the mopped up floors of the hallway. Right at that very second, Ron took my hand and wouldn't stop holding it. I felt like I needed him the most during my thoughts of my father. But, I hardly know Ron. "Why were you staring at me in first period?" I asked as I broke our silence. "I wanted to-----" The bell yet again got us back to our school scedules for the day and I headed for P.E. without a single word.
