“Hello there, Migome.” I glared at the dark haired woman, her onyx eyes stared into mine, “You’re looking quite beautiful, it’s something I’m not used to.”
“Hatsuni!” My mother cried, rushing into her arms. “I’ve missed you.” She murmured, her voice muffled because of her head buried into Hatsuni’s official jonin jacket.
“What are you doing here?” I snarled, “You’re not meant to be home for another three weeks.” Hatsuni shrugged and tenderly pushed my mother off her.
“Well, I finished the mission early. Turns out all I had to do was steal the scroll and execute the landlord.” My eyes narrowed at her,
“That’s wrong!” She shrugged, smiling at me,
“A mission is a mission, I couldn’t help it, I needed money.” I stomped towards her, succeeding to walk without tripping.
“Well then why’d you come here? You have no need to be here!” I pushed her and she took a step backwards, sporting the trademark Uchiha smirk.
“Now now, no need to get angry. I just wanted to visit my dearest mother.” I heard her mocking me in her tone, while my mother just smiled, oblivious to the tension around her.
“Don’t give me that crap! Go back to Yatsuni, or whatever her name is!” Hatsuni faltered, before glaring at me,
“Don’t you mention her, you are not worthy enough.”
“Like hell I’m not worthy!” I pulled my fist back, ready to punch as close as possible to her face.
“Migome! Don’t!” My mother screeched, grabbing my arm and yanking me back from behind. I grunted from effort as I tried not to trip in the heels, which I failed at.
At any other time, I would’ve been able to easily overpower my mother, but not tonight. Tonight, I had a dress on, heels, and my hair was constantly getting in my eyes since it was down.
No, I’m not making excuses! It’s the truth! Hair can stop a ninja from doing important things!
Hatsuni smirked at me,
“Well, I guess that I best be taking my leave.” She waved at my mother, “Goodbye, mother dearest.” Hatsuni glanced down at me,
“Goodbye Migome.” I resisted the urge to spit on her. She ignored the face that I was wearing and exited my room, when she did, I calmed down.
“I hate her.” I whispered, turning to my mother, “You said she wasn’t allowed back into this house!” My mother hesitated,
“Hunny! Come on! She’s your sister!” I glared at my mother, who shrunk back,
“I. Have. No. Sister.” I hissed between my teeth.
