   Rachel's POV

I wake up in the middle of the night. I think I'm going to be sick. I run to the bathroom and I start throwing up. I barely have time to breathe during this. After 5 long hard minutes I finally stop. I hear running footsteps, I guess I woke someone up. It's Sean running to me. "Rachel are you okay?" He asks. I don't really have time to respond because I start throwing up again.
S: "I'll be right back." Sean says In a concerned voice. He runs back downstairs to him and Signe's room. He comes back about a minute later with tired looking Signe. I feel bad for waking them up. Signe pulls back my hair as I keep throwing up. After about 30 minutes I just completely stopped throwing up. Signe told me to take a shower to wash myself off and so I did. I felt a lot better after the shower but I still didn't feel good. I got back in bed after that, but I only slept about 30 minutes.. I couldn't fall asleep. This continued for a rough two days and finally they decide to take me to a doctor.

Jack's POV

Rachel has been sick for two days. I called the doctor and they said they could set an appointment today at noon. I walk out of my bedroom and into the kitchen, Signe is making breakfast and Rachel is sitting at the dining table. Poor child, she looks so tired. She must not be able to sleep. "Goood morning everyone!" I say, trying to brighten the mood of the morning. "The doctors appointment is at noon, you should rest up Rachel." Rachel just nodded, she didn't look like she had much energy to do anything. "I called the school and they understood." Nobody responds to what I say, we're all tired. Rachel tried to get up to go back to her bed, but as soon as she got up she collapsed to the floor. I catch her before she falls, I wasn't that far away from her. "Rachel wake up." I kept trying to prod her awake, Signe turned off the stove and rushed to us. "She isn't waking up!" I yell, I'm starting to get worried. I check her pulse, it's beating.. But very slow. I call an ambulance and we rush her to the hospital. I sit in the back, not paying attention to anything else but Rachel. We arrive at the hospital, get checked in and the doctor comes straight to the room right away. We were told to wait outside and we did as we were told. The doctor finally called us inside after a couple of hours and explained to us what was going on. Apparently she has some rare virus in her system, and it is extremely hard to get out of her system yet doable. "Your only option is to let us perform surgery on her, but this is so rare we haven't really payed much attention to it so it's a 60% chance she will die if we do this surgery.. But if we don't the virus will consume her body and she will die in two days. We call this the Aceradon celebensis polyomavirus. It's more rare to get it the more you get older. So I'm guessing you agree to do the surgery?" The doctor continues explaining everything but I'm not listening. You know that feeling when you're eating food, but while you're chewing it you just feel sick of it and want to spit it out? That's what I'm feeling right now except I'm not eating anything. I nod my head after he's done explaining. "Alright!" He says, "The surgery will be in two hours.. Right now she is in a small coma so we can paralyze the virus for as long as possible until we do the surgery.. I'm sorry but you won't have any time to communicate with her before the surgery." I can't take it anymore, first he tells me my daughter only has a 60% chance to live and then you tell me that I can't speak to her? I burst out into tears, in front of everyone. The doctor looks like he wants to cry to.. He probably sees this stuff happen too much. Signe buries her head into my chest, like she wants to hide her tears from the world. I wrap my arm around her and the doctor and two nurses walk out. For another hour Signe and I are just sitting in the room crying. I stand up and walk over to the side of the bed. I hold Rachel's hand, and I kiss her forehead. "You can't leave us now Rachel.. You just can't." One of my tears falls on her face. The doctor comes in and moves her to the E.R, we have to wait outside of the operating room. Signe and I don't say anything to each other, we just sit outside of the room squeezing each other's hand. About three hours in Signe falls asleep on my chest, we're laying in this recliner thing. I finally fall asleep about an hour later.

Wiishu's POV (hasn't been her POV In a while so here we go.)

I'm awoken by a gentle hand nudging me. A doctor is waking Sean and I up. "We have results from the surgery." The doctor says.
"How did it go? What happened?" Sean immediately sprung to life. "The surgery was successful, you guys may go talk to her now." The doctor says. Sean and I immediately jumped up. I feel like I've never been so happy in my life. We run to open the door, but when we walk in we do it calmly, so we don't startle anyone. We both quickly walk over to the side of the bed. I grasp Rachel's hand. I rub her hand with my thumb. "Hi.." I hear her say, her beautiful blueish-greenish eyes start to open. Sean and I start smiling. I brush my hand through her hair.

End of that chapter. 1040 words jeez. Also I just found out that one of the people reading this is named Rachel, she has brown hair, she's also 12 like Rachel, and her BFF is named Emily. Well that's a coincidence don't you think? Anyway Ye I'm really enjoying writing this. Please leave suggestions for future chapters, I'm running out of ideas man!
