Jack's POV
I walk into the room Rachel's staying in, which we're now going to call her room. I started having second thoughts about her, I'm not ready to become a dad am I? I brush off the negative thoughts and gently shake her awake. She was so beautiful I think in a non creepy perverted way, a rush of protection hit me as she opened her eyes.
"Wake up, breakfast time" I say and put a gentle grin on my face. Her blue eyes lit up, she was just about as excited about food as I was. "What's for breakfast?" She asks. "You'll see." I say and nudge her. I can't believe I'm responsible for a little girl now, let's do this! Parenting panties on! I laugh a little bit to myself. "Anyway Rachel get dressed, you're going out with Signe to bring you to a school and try to get you enrolled. We'll be-" I was cut off.
"School? Does that mean I'll be staying here for a while longer?" She asks.
"You'll be staying here until you graduate highschool and go off to college." I say.
"So you're adopting me?" She asks
I nod. "Now get dressed ya silly."
I walk outside of her room and close the doors, I walk downstairs. I hear a yell of: "CAN YOU SMELL, WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?!!!!"
I laugh and walk behind Signe and grab her around the waist. "Yes I can, and it smells almost as good as freshly baked cookies." I giggle a bit. I hear footsteps and I see Rachel walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. Signe looks at her and her eyes widen. "YES!" She exclaims. "What is it Signe?" I laugh. "I like her fashion sense." She says, smiling. I laugh even harder. "We just have to work on the hair, but it's okay I can do that for you." She laughs.
"My goodness Signe already insulting her! Shaking my head." I hear a small giggle from Rachel. Rachel and Signe went shopping for clothes for her if your confused where those clothes are coming from
"I called the school, they said that they would be happy to have Rachel and we just had to go to the school today and sign her up and we could start school for her in a week." Signe says. "Cool!" I say, and eat breakfast becus lets just say the food is magically on the table now ok Ye. Rachel walks over and sits down at the table. "How do you feel about going into 7th grade Rachel?" Says Signe. "Well I missed about half of 6th grade so I'm not sure, what if I don't know anything" says Rachel concerned. "You'll be fine, I bet you you're smarter than any of the other kids there!" I laugh a little bit and then I get up and put my plates in the sink. "Alright well Ima go up and record, good luck at the school and the (insert adoption paperwork place here yeet)"
