Time skip sukkas. 9 months later ok I didn't know what to do shh.
Signe's POV
I walk into the kitchen, I've been having contractions but every pregnant woman usually gets those a little while before the water breaks. We still don't know the gender because we wanted it to be a surprise. I get a real intense contraction, I grit my teeth and hold on to the tabletop. Today's Rachel's birthday, we're planning to go out to dinner later. "Aow!" I scream in pain. Rachel runs over, she was in the living room. "Are you okay?" She looks at me with concern. I don't want to alarm anyone.. everything's perfectly normal. And then I feel something very very wet. My water broke. A little bit trickles on the floor. I just stand transfixed. "Oh my god!" Rachel yells, and then she covers her mouth. She runs upstairs like a maniac and I can hear her run into Sean's recording room.
Rachel's POV
I run upstairs in complete freak out mode. I slam open Sean's recording room door. He was yelling but then he stopped when he heard me. He turns his chair around and looks at me, he can tell I look concerned. "What is it?" He looks at me a little concerned. "Signe's water broke!" I yell at him like he's an idiot. His eyes suddenly grow the size of a baseball bat. He doesn't even speak to me and he sprints downstairs to Signe's aid. I follow. He assists her into our car. I jump into the backseat next to Signe and close the door.
At the hospital.
Signe's POV
I look at Rachel, she seems to be distracted by some thing in the room. I get another contraction, Sean is holding my hand while sitting next to me. This is literally the worst feeling ever. I grit my teeth. The nurse walks in with a bunch of thingies, she checks my stomach and stuff. "You're 9cm dilated, we're now going to transfer you into the delivery room and then we'll start to try and push." The nurse says. I just nod in pain. Sean holds my hand through everything. Sean and Rachel follow my cart thing into the delivery room, but Rachel was kicked out because apparently only the father of the child was allowed in.
Time skip to birth ok.
There. There he/she is. They haven't told me the gender yet, so I just wait until they get him/ her cleaned up. "So, what is it?" I ask. The nurse looks at me with a smile on her face. "It's a girl!" I look at Sean and smile. He kisses me on the head. Rachel can enter the room now. As Rachel walks into the room, her eyes are already fixed on the baby.
R: "So?"
"It's a girl!" I laugh.
She smiles. The nurse puts her in my arms, I look down at her. She didn't cry at all. "That one's quiet." The nurse says and smiles. "What is her name going to be?" Rachel asks. Sean looks at Me. "Hm.. What about Olivia?" I look at him. "Olivia it is!" He says and smiles. I instagram a photo of Olivia.. what a cutie!
Sorry for a short chapter I'm really tired and sleep is trying to pull me into the dark side. May the force be Wiishu.
