Chapter 28 - Birthday Party

Astrid stretched and yawned as she turned to look at the clock a smile spread across her face as she gazed at the date '26th May todays the day' she thought to herself she rolled over to see her brother still snoring on his side of the room 'i know what im gonna do' she picked up a pillow and threw it across the room hitting her brother in the face.

"What was that for?!" Chris yelled at his sister.

Astrid laughed "its our birthday genius were 10 years old we can become pokemon trainers".

"Yes lets go wake up mom and dad" chris replied jumping out of bed and running down the hall.

They reached there parents room and creapt in "on the count of 3" astrid whispered "1....2....3!!!" Suddenly they both dived onto there parents bed jumping up and down on the matteress yelling "wake up mom wake up dad".

"Ok ok were up" ash laughed
"Just give us a minuite kids" serena said grumpily.
"Ok we will let you get up properly come on astrid lets get nan"
"No need nans already awake i can smell breakfast" astrid said smelling the air.
"BREAKFAST!!!" The two children shouted together before running down the stairs.

Serena laughed "well ash they definatley got your appetite" she turned to her husband who had already got changed into his blue jeans and black tshirt.

"I know im gonna grab some bacon before astrid eats it all ill save you some aswell beautiful" ash said as he leaned over and kissed his wife.

"Thanks ash ill meet you downstairs". Serena replied as Ash went down stairs to the kitchen

"Finished" astrid said holding her belly "nan your breakfasts are the best" delia chuckled at the compliment "thanks sweetie"

"Ive finished to dad can we go call for Michael?" Chris asked.

"Of course but dont be late for dinner" Ash replied and with that Astrid and Chris were off. "Anyway i best be off aswell im picking your mom up from the airport" he said as he turned to serena "wanna come along?"

"Ill stay here and help with the party theres a lot to do" serena replied.

"Ash ive just got off the phone with the bakery the delivery man is ill so they cant deliver the cake would you beable to pick it up" delia asked

"No problem mom ill swing by the bakery after ive picked up grace ill ask Gary to come along aswell to help keep it steady" and with that he got in his car and drove off to pick up Gary.

"Hey Misty is Michael in?" Astrid asked
"Yeah ill get him" misty replied
"Michael wanna hang out a bit we got the whole day to ourselves" chris exclaimed
"Sounds fun count me in" Michael said "Mom im going out with Chris and Astrid!" He shouted
"Ok but dont be late for dinner" she replied.

Just then ash pulled up and knocked the door. "Hey Misty is Gary in"

"If 1 more person knocks this door whilst im trying to do something im gonna scream, Gary ash is here!"

"What got into her?" Ash asked
"Dont go there shes really edgey lately"
"Anyways wanna help me run an errand"
"Yes lets go" Gary said eagerly as he shut the door behind him.
"Quick drive before Misty finds out im gone that woman is driving me insane". Ash laughed as they drove off to veridian city.

It was getting late Astrid Chris and Michael were heading back to the ketchum household.

"There gonna kill us were late for dinner" Astrid said
"Yeah i know there not gonna be happy" chris replied.
"My mom is at yours luckily but still shes gonna tan my hide for being this late" Michael cringed at the thought.

They entered through the door "SURPRISE!!!" Everyone jumped out to wish the twins happy birthday.

They partied into the night as they had fun.
