I followed the Doctor out the door of the police box. "What is that?" I asked, pointing to the gun in his hands.
"THIS. Is a Dimension Vault. Its Dalek technology I stole a while ago... The Cybermen used it to escape from the Void."
"Aaand.. Am I supposed to understand all of that?" I asked. "Well, no. Not really. I just thought you'd find it intriguing thats all." He said matter-of-factly. "So what does it do exactly?" I asked curiously, hoping that what he would say would be something I could understand. "It's used to trap living things into the Void, which is empty space in between universes, a wasteland between realities. Its like a prison, you can't escape from it. Except not many are able to actually live in the Void. After the reality bomb, any sign of life, and time itself no longer existed there."
Yeah I was wrong. Nothing he said made any sense. But I really didn't care because there is apparently an 'alien' in the school, and the only person who seems to be able to get rid of it is this insane guy.
"SHHH." The Doctor whispered out of nowhere. "I CAN HEAR YOU THINKING BE QUIET." He whispered again very loudly. "WHAT?!" I whispered loudly back. "I can hear it coming..." He motioned me to get down under one of the tables. I crawled under a table opposite the Doctor. He too crawled under a table and I tried to listen to what he was hearing. What did he hear?
But then another thought was in my head. A voice that wasn't mine. 'You ask too many questions. You need to stay away from the Doctor. He is a threat and he will kill you when he gets the chance. He can't be trusted.'
Who was the voice in my head? How could I know the Doctor can't be trusted?
Then I heard it. I heard what the Doctor was hearing. I could hear the beast's heavy breathing. It was in the room with us. I covered my mouth to quiet my breathing. I could die right now. Die a weird, alien death and no one would probably believe it. I glanced over at the Doctor and saw him put on a pair of red and blue 3D glasses. He smiled at me and gave a thumbs up.
Great. Why is he all excited and i'm here thinking about dying. I mean, it's normal to be scared, right? When you're about to die? My heartbeat quickened as I saw the beast's feet from a few tables away, and getting closer. I shot a scared glance at the Doctor and he held up his index finger telling me to wait. The beast was getting closer and made a low, growling noise.
I hugged my legs to my chest. The beast was getting closer until it was only one table away from the Doctor and I. Then it spoke, the beast. It's voice was hushed and demonic:
"I know you're here.. Doctor... I have your scent... But there's someone new... I can smell his blood..." My eyes widened. The beast knew where I was.
Then suddenly, I was dragged from underneath the table and thrown against the wall. There was an unbearable pain in my head. My vision blurred and my hearing was muted. I barely got up on my knees when I was thrown to the wall again. This time I felt his claws dig into my neck. The claws were blistering hot and I cried out in pain as I was being choked.
I could see the Doctor out of the corner of my eye. It looked like he was trying to reason with the beast. He looked panicked but I couldn't hear anything he was saying. There was a ringing in my ear and my vision was going red.
Then suddenly, it felt like weight was pushed off of me. I collapsed to the floor. I coughed and gagged for what seemed like forever. I crawled over to sit against the wall, when I felt a sharp stab of pain in my ribcage. One of my ribs must've been broken. I then looked up and saw the Doctor coming to sit next to me. I looked around the room, the beast was nowhere in sight.
"It's about time you got rid of that thing." I wheezed out. The Doctor started to laugh and I started to laugh too, which turned into a cough. That's when the Doctor spoke up. "Alright then, I think you need to get home and rest. It was nice meeting you!" He stood up and shook my hand, then pulled me onto my feet which resulted in another sharp pain in my rib. "Ow.." I said quietly. "Oops, sorry about that." The Doctor then helped me as I limped into the blue box.
I don't want to go home...
