My alarm sounded throughout the small space I called my dorm. Colliding with my phone screen was more dramatic than I meant it to be as my phone slid off my night stand and onto the ground. Rising from my bed I picked up my phone and realized it was lit up with multiple messages.
8 messages from Harry, 1 message from Jared, and 3 messages from Niall.
A smile plastered on my face as I saw Jared's name, but confusion sunk in as I saw the amount of texts that Harry had sent me. I began with his messages since the curiosity was eating at me.
Harry: Ur ghairr smerled noce
My brows furrowed as I read the message. 'Your hair smelled nice', I translated the typos.
Harry: Lik vanullas
'Like vanilla'.
Harry: I wantr ur liops
'I want your lips',
Harry: R u rewlly dazting Jured
'Are you really dating Jared'. No, but you don't know that.
Harry: He iz a pfick
'He is a prick'. I decided that he meant prick instead of dick, but who knows what he truly meant.
The next three were complete nonsense, as it seemed that his typos got intensely worse. However, the last one was coherent.
Harry: Hey, do me a favor and ignore those messages. I was drunk last night so I didn't know what I was saying...
My confusion deepened as more questions began to brew in my head. I set down my phone to begin getting ready, but the questions still lingered. Like, if he didn't mean it then why did he say it? Drunk words are sober thoughts. And, Why was he piss drunk on a school night?
Somewhere inside me briefly struck that feeling of a want for those messages to be genuine. However, that feeling drifted quickly into the multiple emotions that I kept locked up as many people did.
I settled on some leggings and an oversized sweatshirt since today's weather was the usual Seattle gloom. My hair was in a messy bun and my ears supported my ray ban glasses since my contacts weren't cooperating today.
Going back to my phone I noticed I still had my messages from Niall and Jared.
Jared: You should stop by the shop today. Even though I'm sure you were going to anyway(:
I smiled at the text message and realized that he was most likely right since going to the coffee shop was almost a daily thing for me. Scrolling down I landed on Niall's messages.
Niall: You never explained what was going on Bea.
Niall: This is the second time you've done this now. Whats going on?
Niall: You know what I get it Bea. You should've just said you didn't want to be apart of my project. You've always been the person to speak your mind. I dont know whats gotten into you.
Reading the message gave me mixed emotions. I should've told him from the first moment I saw the devil himself walk into the coffee shop and claim to be my co-star. I'm usually not a coward like this so, what's stopping me?
I grabbed everything that I would need for my three classes today and quietly made my way over to J to pull up her covers so they blanketed her body completely. I slightly smiled and exited 'the hole'.

By the time I was done with my statistics class I was done with the day. The entirety of my classes I was thinking about was why Harry had sent me those messages or if Niall was going to rip off my head the next time he saw me. Of course I knew why Harry sent me those messages, yet I wanted to believe otherwise. I also knew that Niall would never rip off my head, but potentially disown me as a friend.
