《 Shinya's P.O.V 》

I could feel my heart beating as I slowly walked to the principles office. My whole body was shaking as I got to the door. I took a deep breath and let myself in.

Inside were a few other kids from lower grade levels who looked up at me with wide eyes. I honestly didn't care if they recognized me as the Mr. Lonely kid.

I sat down next to a girl who was pretty cute. Her hair was a bright red, tied up in a ponytail. A few seconds past when I saw the hesitant look in her purple eyes. She got up and moved to a different seat far away from me. I was so used to this by now, that I didn't even care. I grumbled and turned away from her.

Just as I glanced at the door, Guren walked in. He didn't look at all excited to be here. He took a seat far away from me as well and waited to be called. I couldn't help but stare at him. Every time I peered into his eyes, my heart felt like it was about to explode. He saw me look at him and glanced away from me, avoiding my gaze.

"Mr. Ichinose and Mr. Hiragi. It's your turn." Our vice principal smiled at us and led the way into a white room with one desk. On the front side of the desk were two chairs and on the other was one. I was assuming that we would be sitting in the two chairs.

I quickly sat down and felt my heart beat again as Guren sat down next to me. We were so close yet so far. I looked down at my shoes, trying to not look embarrassed. I kept wondering why the principal wanted us to be here. Changing school schedules? Being partners for something? Cleaning up the bathroom? Who knows?

Finally our principal came in. He sat down in the chair in front of us. "Good Afternoon." He nodded to us.

"Good afternoon, Sir." Guren and I said at the exact same time. My head was still down. I knew it was rude, but I just couldn't face Guren.

"I've called you in because~" The principal was about to say something when the rebel of our school interrupted him.

"Make it quick. I don't want to spend anymore time with an idiot like him." Guren hissed.

What did he just call me? An idiot? My heart cracked a little. Wait, I shouldn't be sad, I don't even like him.

"As I was saying," The principal pretended he didn't hear what Guren had said. "I brought you in here to tutor Shinya, Mr. Ichinose. Your grades are one of best in all of the school and Shinya's are the worst. So I expect you two to meet up every Monday and Friday to study. You will start next week."

I stared up at the principal in disbelief. Guren tutoring me?! No way! I tried not to smile but I ended up doing so anyway.

I finally looked at Guren who looked pissed. His hands were clenched into fists and madness was written all over his face. He stood up violently, shaking the desk a tiny bit which almost made me squeak in fear.

"THERE IS NO WAY I'M TUTORING HIM! HE'S NEVER GOING TO GET BETTER GRADES NO MATTER HOW HARD I WILL MAKE HIM STUDY! HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO TAUGHT BY A PERSON LIKE ME!" Guren growled and stomped out of the room. The door to the principal's office crashed opened violently and he exited.

"Guren..." I called quietly. My heart was racing now. In panic and of excitement. I get to be tutored by Guren! How ironic is that?
"Thank you sir!" I bowed happily.

The principal smiled at me. "I'm glad you are happy Shinya. Hopefully Guren can be as happy as you. I'm sure you two will get along after awhile. You may leave now. I have work to do."

"Okay! Bye, have a nice day!" I left the room, grinning all the way. As I walked through the halls, people stared at me weirdly. Some were shocked.

I couldn't believe it! Guren Ichinose! My tutor! My very own tutor!

I walked down the hall toward my locker when I saw Guren standing by his locker with, of course, my sister. A lot of people were surrounding them, mostly girls asking what happened and what was going on. Shit like that drove me insane. My sister spotted me watching, and glared at me. Her face full of anger. I stuck my tongue out at her. Stupid Mahiru. She's probability jealous that I get to spend time with Guren and not her.

She stuck out her tongue back and clung on to Guren's arm for attention. He ignored her and went on blabbing to one of his friends, Kureto. Kureto had been my bully throughout middle school until I gave up on fighting back and he didn't want to annoy me any longer. His arm was around his girlfriend, Aoi whom I've disliked since I've met her.

I still remember the first time Mahiru has her over. She wouldn't shut up about makeup and whatever. When she approached me, she asked if I bleached my hair because it is white. I obviously said no and she called me a loser. Ever since then she has hated me. I can't blame her though. It's easy to pick on Shinya Hiragi.

The bell rung and I quickly gathered my things. I was about to slam my locker door shut when someone whispered something behind me.

"F*ck you, Shinya Hiragi. I won't forgive you for this. You don't deserve me and I don't deserve you so stay out of my and I'll stay out of yours."

I cringed at the last part. I turned around to see who it was but nobody was there. It had to be Guren. Who else would threaten me like that?
