「Guren's P.O.V」

Shinya hasn't come out of his room in two days. I left food out for him, but he never took it. I tried knocking on his door, calling his name, but he still wouldn't answer. He locked his door and put up a dumb sign that said, Don't Disturb. Bullshit. Absolute bullshit. 

I was lying on my bed thinking of ways to lure the dumb ass out, when Mahiru called me for the millionth time. Ever since the day I told her I didn't have feelings for her anymore, she had been calling me. I didn't have the energy to block her nor did I have the energy to pick up the phone. The more she called, the less patience I had. Out of anger and frustration, I shoved the phone under my pillow and got up to get ready for the day. 

I walked up to the mirror. My jet black hair spewed out in every direction. My eyes were drooping from the lack of sleep and in conclusion, I looked and felt like shit. I yawned tiredly. My whole expression matched the way I felt inside. 

"Back to bed." I muttered to myself. Shinya would have to starve before he came out. 

My legs moved me to my bed slowly almost as if they were controlled to do so. It was like I had been turned to a brain eating zombie last night. I got under the covers, their warmth enveloped my body and I finally felt at peace as I dozed off. 

An hour later, I heard a knock on my door, 

"G-guren?"

It was the shaky sound of Shinya's voice. I moved my body in a sitting position, rubbing my eyes, trying to wake up. 

"Yeah?"

"Can I come in?"

My eyes widened briefly before I answered, "Yes, I mean wait a minute!"

It just occurred to me that I didn't have any clothes on. Just boxers. I stood up from the bed and quickly ran to the closet, but before I could put on a clean pair of clothes, Shinya walked in. Just as he came in, I turned to face him boxers and all. 

The white haired male's eyes widened from shock. I could see the shock and curiosity in his eyes as he examined me head to toe. I froze like a secret had been revealed. His cheeks turned a bright pink as he turned around quickly. 

"Ah, Sorry!" Shinya yelled in embarrassment even thought I should have been the one who was embarrassed. 

While he was faced in the other direction, I found a t-shirt and a pair of jeans I quickly put on. I could still sense the awkwardness between us and his hesitation to turn back. 

"You can turn around now." 

I watched as Shinya turned around, his eyes as wide as saucers. At least there was a look of relief on his face. I crossed my arms, trying to look as annoyed as possible. 

"What brings you here?" 

"I wanted to go swimming with you." 

I looked down, and realized Shinya was wearing his swim trunks. I sighed. He doesn't come out of his room for two days, and now he wants to go swimming with me. How random. 

"Fine." I respond in an annoyed tone, even though I was still tired. "You go first and I'll come with two towels."

As he left, I took off my jeans and quickly put on my swim trunks. I left my room and went downstairs to find a few towels and a bottle of sunscreen. The weather outside was hot and sunny. Not a cloud in the sky. I put down the two towels on the sitting chairs and carefully laid the bottle of sunscreen on top. I looked toward the direction of the pool and saw Shinya with his shirt off. My eyes widened a little. 

What shocked me was how feminine Shinya looked. He had curves just like a girl would and his skin looked extremely soft. I suddenly had an urge to touch him and feel his small body on mine. 

"Guren? Can I use the sunscreen?" He asked, forcing me to clear my thoughts. 

I nodded, "Yeah of course." 

He picked up the sunscreen from the chair and began applying it across his skin. I took off my shirt and threw it to the side and began applying sunscreen after Shinya was done. 

"Are you ready to jump in?" I asked before I realized Shinya was staring at me. No, not me, my body. He shook his head.

"What? Oh right.. yeah I'm ready." He replied

"Alright I'll go in first." 

I backed up a little, getting ready to sprint towards the water. When I was far enough I began to run. As I got to the ledge, I jumped as high as I could and dove into the water. The water was cold at first, but I got used to it as I swam up to the surface. Shinya was right behind me. He jumped into the water as well and swam towards me. I smiled and ducked my head under the water. 

A half an hour passed of us just swimming around and splashing each other. I felt like a kid again with Shinya by my side. We got out to take a small break. We were sitting in the chairs with our towels over our bodies

"Do you like it here?" I asked out of the blue. 

"Yeah. I really do. It's nice to be away from Mahiru." 

His voice became quieter whenever he talked about Mahiru. I didn't want to bring the subject up. 

"Hey, do you want to jump in again?" 

"No not really.. I'm tired." 

The mention of Mahiru always made Shinya depressed. I rolled my eyes and got out of my chair. Without thinking twice, I walked over to Shinya and picked him up bridal style. He was surprisingly light. 

"Hey!" He shouted, but he wrapped his arms around my neck so he wouldn't fall. The sudden soft touch made me freeze and my heart raced faster. 

I quickly walked over to the pool and threw Shinya in. He swam to the surface with a pout on his face, but he was smiling. 

"I hate you Guren." Shinya laughed.

"I know you do." I smiled back and jumped into the water after him.
