The day had finally come, the one I had been waiting for all my life. It was finally time to see my favorite band, All Time Low, live. Words could not express how excited I am, those four guys from Baltimore practically saved my life.
"Trouble, are you ready yet? Luke's pulling into the driveway now!" My mother called up the stairs as I gave myself a final once over in the mirror.
"Okay, mom, I'll be right down!" I call back, eyes still on my reflected image.
I finally avert my eyes from the mirror leaning against my wall, glancing down at my outfit once again. It consisted of my first ever ATL band shirt, black skinny jeans, my worn down red converse high-tops and the small black bag holding my phone and a few bills from my wallet. I looked back up, giving my usually make-up free face a glance, wondering how Luke would react to the small-ish amount of eyeliner I had used.
I just realized Luke has never seen a speck of make-up on, considering I barely ever wore any. I didn't see the need unless it was a special occasion. Trust me, an All Time Low concert is about as special as it will get.
"Trouble! Luke's waiting, you're going to be late if you don't leave now!"
"Sorry mom, I swear I'm coming now!" I call as I run down the stairs, tripping over the last step and landing at my mom's feet.
I gave her a sheepish smile as I picked myself up and brushed off the non-existent dust.
"Go get 'em kiddo, and I won't bother waiting up since I know you'll want to stay as long as you can. Just call me or give me a text when you get there, yeah?" My mom asked, gathering me up in her arms.
"Of course I will. I'll probably see you tomorrow, okay? I love you!" I exclaim, blowing her a kiss as I rush out the front door.
"I love you, too!" I faintly heard her exclaim as I jumped into the passenger seat of Luke's car.
"You ready for the best night of your not-so-meaningless life?"
"Hell yeah!" He grinned, gunning it our of my neighborhood.
The concert had finally ended and Luke and I were waiting to finally meet our idols. I was containing my excitement fairly well but Luke on the other hand... wasn't. He was practically shaking with excitement, glaring every time I let out a small chuckle at his behavior.
"Luke, you need to calm down." I chuckled once again, grabbing his hand as he glared at me once again.
"I am calm, I'm so calm I'm cold. In fact, I'm so chilled out penguins want to be around me because-"
"Luke, sweetie?"
"Yes?"
"Shut up."
'You don't have to be so mean about-OH MY GOD!"
"Luke?"
"ANDY THEY'RE-THEY'RE RIGHT THERE. THIS IS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!"
"Luke, those are just people dressed like them." I sigh.
"Oh.." He trails off as he buries his face in my neck, obviously embarrassed by his actions.
We stayed like that for a few moments, just waiting to finally meet the people we were waiting for.
"You kids ready?" The burly man asked before shooing us to the room holding the four people we were dying to meet.
"So, how long have you been together?" Alex asked me, gesturing to the other side of the room where my boyfriend was talking to Jack, finally gaining control of his inner fanboy.
