Calum's P.O.V:

It's funny to think how one building can be the baine of your existence! Just a square of oppression, no self worth,judgement and ridicule.

I was standing in the corridor dreading going into my class.
I was 30 minutes late for an hour class.

My stomach rumbled violently,I pressed my hand to my stomach trying to muffle the sound.

I opened the door causing the class to look up.

They sniggered.

The teacher ignored me.
I sat quietly in my seat not saying a word.

"Ignore them Cal" Luke whispered from behind me
I smiled warmly at him.

"Hey Freak? Why were you late huh?" I heard a whisper from behind.

I ignored the whisper looking straight ahead at the board. Hmm.... Heat of neutralisation questions.

"What is he deaf now as well as mute?"
They room sniggered.

"Shut up dick wade!" Luke snapped quietly.

"Mr.Hemmings not this again you know where to go"
"Are you kidding me..." He muttered standing up and headed for the door.

One more mark and Luke was suspended....
He can't get this mark.
He didn't do anything wrong!

I stood up out of my seat and went to the board stopping Luke in his tracks.

My hands shuck and my breathing became ragged.
I grabbed the whiteboard marker.
"Calum Hood what are you doing?! Sit down immediately!" The teacher shouted.

My hands shook vigorously as I wrote across the board.

Luke did nothing wrong he's to nice to say so, the asehole behind me, Jay, called me a freak and a mute and Luke stood up for me. So he should not get the blame. I may not talk,but personally I don't think you dicks deserve to hear my voice.When I don't talk you bully me,When I do you talk bully me. Wtf do you want from me?! I'm done with you all.

And I walked straight from the classroom Luke following straight behind me.
I fell to the ground clasping my chest I gasped for air,tears welled in my eyes causing my vision to go blurry.
Luke knelt down beside me he took my hands from my chest and held them tight.

"Shush...breath Cal breath.... That was awesome...breath in...out..."

"Your okay everything's fine... Your safe I'm here nothing's going to happen to you, your okay, breath remember  to breath"
His voice soothed, I looked into his eyes,the pressing sensation lessened slightly as we stared back at each other, my tears stopping.

"Are you okay?"
"Y-yeh f-f-fine" I smiled.

"That was awesome af Cal! You gave him exactly what he deserved!"

I smirked, shrugging.

"And thanks..." he said blushing.

I looked at him raising my eyebrow feeling confused. I untangled one of my hands from his to wipe the dry tears off my face.

"For sticking up for me.."

"Y-you took t-t-oo many for me, it was about time I stuck up for you" I smiled.
