"She was nice!" I said smiling as we walked into Starbucks.
"I agree! Ok so now that you are here what would you like?" He asked me. I looked around at the small but still big coffee shop. There was a menu with lots of different choices, people sitting drinking and eating, and people standing probably waiting for their drinks...?
"I have no idea! I've never been here!" I said confused.
"Ok ok do you want it hot or cold?" He asked me.
"I'll have... Cold"
"Ok now chocolate? Carmel? Fudge? Pumpkin? Vanilla?"
"Oooo Chocolate!"
"Ok, how about the Double Chocolate Chip Frappachino?" He asked me.
"Uh sure, sounds like it would taste good"
"It will, don't worry!" He said laughing. We walked up to the counter and Connor ordered for us.
"Hi, she will have a tall double chocolate chip frappachino" he told the guy working the cash register.
"Ok do you want whip cream on it?" He asked me. I nodded.
"Ok and what's your name?"
"Chloe" I told him smiling. He put my cup on a counter and turned back to Connor. Connor gave him his order, the only word I understood of his order was latte. He gave him his name, paid and we walked over and sat at a tiny booth by the window as we waited for them to call our names.
"Hey guys, so were at Starbucks!" He spoke into his camera. "By the way that girl we met was named Iry! And se was super nice and also a fan of O2L! She also makes videos! I didn't exactly catch her channel name but if you guys know feel free to leave it in the comments so we can check out her videos! Ok so Chloe is seriously the worst person ever at ordering things!"
"NO IM NOT!" I defended myself with a laugh.
"Yes you are! I had to ask you like 5 billion questions!" He said smiling.
"No you didn't! It was like... 3 ok"
"Yeah ok... Whatever you say Miss. Super-Long-Starbucks-Orderer." I rolled my eyes at him as our names were called.
"I'll go get the drinks since I take FOREVER to order!" I said laughing. I heard Connor end his vlog as I walked over to the counter. The guy handed me the drinks and I thanked him. As I was walking over to the booth, I heard Connor on the phone.
"Yeah yeah I know I have to....... Yeah but sh- she's coming I gotta go" he quickly hung it up and smiled at me. I have him a confused look as he grabbed his drink.
"Ready to go?" He asked ignoring my look.
"Uh yeah..." I said as we walked back to his car. We were literally silent as we sipped our drinks. He again opened up the door for me and I mumbled a thanks before walking to find the car. We found it and he quickly unlocked it and we got in. We set our drinks on the cup holders and buckled up as the car roared to life.
"So how are you liking your drink?" He asked awkwardly.
"It's good, really good" I said managing a weak smile. Oh shit... Now I get it... He's being awkward and super nice because we're going to the adoption center right now!! He's going to leave me there... No he wouldn't do that, he couldn't do that. I love him and I know he loves me! Ok he can't be just leaving me! But why else would he butter me up like this?
"What was that phone call about?" I asked him straightforward. We were just pulling out of the parking lot and he looked scared.
"W-what phone call?" He asked not looking at me.
"You know what I'm talking about, the phone call when I was getting out drinks, I came back and you hung up very quickly, what was it about?" I asked wanting to get an answer.
"It was- wa- it.. Ok" he pulled over to the side of the road and looked me in the eye.
"Do you want to know what it was about?" He asked looking me dead in the eyes.
"Yes now tell me!"
"Ok..." He relaxed a little and took a deep breath. "The reason we got you a phone today, and it was just me was because..." He covered his hands in his face and took another breath. "Because... Oh my gosh I can't do this"
"Connor... What was the phone call about?" I asked getting mad.
"It... Was the other guys, and they were asking me if I had told you something yet..."
"Ok now what was it?" I asked clutching my drink.
"It was.. Oh my gosh I can't do this" he mumbled.
"That's it" I whispered. I quickly unbuckled and opened up my door. Yeah I'm on the side of the road, well it's not extremely busy.. And I'm not on the side of traffic. I got out of the car leaving Connor yelling at me to come back and slammed the door. I started walking away from the car.
"No Chloe!" I heard Connor yell behind me. He slammed his door shut and I could hear footsteps running behind me. I picked up my pace.
"Chloe, please come back" he said chasing me. He finally caught up to me and grabbed my arm tightly but not enough to hurt me.
"Ok Chloe, why did you try to run away?" He asked keeping calm.
"Because I know what this is all about!"
"You do? Oh so do you understand?" He asked breathing a sigh of relief.
"UNDERSTAND?!?!? HOW IS THERE A WAY TO UNDERSTAND IM GOING BACK TO THE FREAKING ORPHANAGE?!?! THAT YOU DON'T WANT ME? HOW CAN I UND-"
"CHLOE!!! Do you honestly think we would want to take you back?" He asked looking me straight in the eyes.
"THAT'S WHY YOU WERE BEING NICE TO ME!!" I said with tears streaming down my face. I tried to pull my arm away from him but he didn't let go.
"Chloe..." He said softly.
"I KNOW IT'S THE TRUTH!"
"Chloe, listen to me. We weren't going to take you back! We would never take you back! Never in a million years would we ever even THINK about giving you back to the orphanage?!? Why would you think of something like that? Chloe we love you, I love you! You're a part of our family now! And we wouldn't want anyone else! Now listen to me, don't you ever, EVER think again that we would try to take you back! Never! Sure, we might get mad but NEVER mad enough to take you back! And we gave you a phone because we thought you would want one! We knew that you would need one soon so might as well get one now! And the whole being nice to you? Of course we're going to be nice to you! You're part of our family! We went out for lunch cause I was hungry! We got Starbucks because its amazing and I wanted you to try it! We love you! I love you Chloe." He said with tears as he pulled me into his chest. I wrapped my arms around him and sighed. I knew they weren't going to take me back.. They never could. They never would. I smiled and leaned into him.
There we were, standing on the side of the road hugging it out.
I finally pulled away because I thought of something else.
"So if you weren't going to take me back, what did the boys call you about?"
"Oh yeah, ok I think it'd be better if I tell you in the car.." He told me. He wiped away my tears on my cheeks and gave me a side hug as we walked back to the car. I pulled the handle and gave a Connor look. He copied me and we both were scared. We pulled on the handle and it wouldn't open...we were locked out. Connor sighed and came over to stand by me.
"Uh... I think we're locked out" he said looking at the car. I gave him a "no shit" look and pulled the handle one more time... Yup definitely locked.
"Well can't you call somebody?" I asked him.
"Oh yeah!" He reached into his back pocket and his eyes grew wide. He check all his other pockets and looked inside the car. Of course, there was his phone sitting on the little divider thing in the middle of the car.
"Oh crap..." He said putting his hands in his head.
"Well what do we do know?" I asked looking around.
"Lets see... There's a gas station right over there, we can ask if they have a phone we can use" he said pointing back alongside the road.
"Yeah might as well, it's our only option" I said with a sigh.
"Ok let's go..." He put his arm around my shoulder .and we walked towards the 7/11. It didn't loo like to far of a walk, maybe about the equivalence of a block?
"Ok so what did you want to talk to me about?" I said still sipping my drink.
"Oh yeah... Ok so uh... Um"
"What is it? Come on I thought you were taking me back I can take anything!"
"Ok well... Remember the night we had Fro-Yo with Zack and Bridgette?" He asked.
"Uh yeah... What about it"
"Ok well, we messed up"
"Aboutttttt.....?"
"Well we said you're going to East High with Zack and Bridgette you're not, you're going to West High... With Trevor"
I literally had to use all the power within me not to laugh.
"We're super sorry..."
"Oh my gosh!!!" I said letting out a couple laughs. "You were honestly scared about telling me that?!? That's like nothing! I mean I'll still see them! We're practically neighbors! And I came make new friends! Is that seriously what you were scared about?"
"Yeah... We didn't want you to be disappointed" he said looking at the ground.
"That's nothing! I'm just relieved that you weren't taking me about taking me home!! I mean yeah, I'm a little sad I won't be going with them but I'll be fine!! Don't worry!" I said with a smile.
"Good, yeah I guess I was overreacting a little bit"
"It's ok, you didn't know"
"Good, I'm glad were ok" he told me with a smile.
"Me to" I answered him as we approached the 7/11.

So I have a couple points to make....
Number 1: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! HAPPY HANUKAH!! HAPPY KWANZA! I'm not sure what religion all of you are but... HAPPY HOLIDAYS! And also Happy New Year! What has been your best memory of 2013? Because 2013 has honestly been AMAZING! Just to much to explain!
How was everyone's holidays? What was your favorite present? Mine was... ONE DIRECTION TICKETS!! AAAHH! I'm literally so excited I can't contain it! I'm going August 30th, Chicago: literally 7 months and 26 days away (I have a countdown app) ;)
Numero Dos: (2) SORRY! I know I said I would update like a week ago but I've been so busy with family, and Christmas, and just ugh!
Also, while with my family, I came up with 2 ideas for fanfics, I've started writing the first couple chapters and I think their pretty decent... So maybe I'll put them up idk yet... FUTURE PLANNING!
Point #3: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I seriously can NOT thank you guys enough! Whenever I'm going through my news feed and see a new vote or comment, I smile so big my family wonders what's wrong with me!
