Recap:
"Oh yeah, Chloe we still have something else we need to talk to you about." Jc said putting away his phone. I could suddenly feel the mood in the room change from being happy and cheery, to serious and awkward.
"Y-you do?" I asked getting slightly scared of what it could be. "W-what about?"
"One word- boys"

I didn't say anything. I just brought my legs up to the couch and wrapped my arms around them. I rested my chin on my knees and looked at them all. I could feel my heat running to my cheeks.
"Ok, so we have a couple rules about boys" Kian told me looking me in the eyes.
"K...?" I asked implying them to tell me what they are.
"Ok, rule number 1, no boys allowed in your room unless one of us 4 are upstairs." Ricky said simply.
"Ok quick question." I said straightening out my legs. "I'm 13, what would I be doing with a boy... In my room alone? I mean yeah if I was 16, I'd get worried but I'm 13"
"Oh yeah... I guess so..." Ricky said scratching the back of his neck. "How about no boys allowed in your room when none of us are home?"
"Ok...fine I probably won't be inviting any boys over anytime soon but ok" I answered.
"K good. Next thing. Ok so this one might be a little awkward..." Kian told me before he laid out the next rule of theirs. "Trevor... Ok, we know he's the same age as you, and he will be spending lots of time here at the house, but unless the two of you really really REALLY like each other, you probably shouldn't date each other"
"Seriously?" I asked. "Ok no offense but I'm not going to date Trevor! I mean yeah, he's nice and all but I'm not going to date him! I'm probably not going to be dating any boys. For a while! I just got here!"
"Ok ok just letting you know. Didn't mean to upset you" Kian said backing off a little bit.
"Ok another thing" Connor started out. "Ok, so this might be awkward... For all of us... So lets get straight to it... We have one simple question for you, are you sure you won't find it awkward seeing how you're living with 4 boys and your a teenage girl?" I literally had to bite my lip to hold back from laughing.
"Are you kidding me?" I asked looking at Connor, then Ricky, then Jc, then Kian. "You guys are like... I don't know 20? And I'm 13! And I'm living with you! No offense but there is no way I would like you guys" I said then regretted saying it after seeing their hurt faces. "No! I didn't mean it like that!!! I mean liking you guys would be like... Having a crush on my brother! You guys are like brothers to me! I promise you! There is no way I will ever, ever, EVER have a crush on you guys!"
"Oh ok good! I mean but if you weren't here with us, you would totally want some of this right?" Ricky asked gesturing to his body along with everybody else's.
"Yeah yeah sure, whatever floats your boat!" I laughed at him.
"Ok good! I think that's all... Right?" Connor asked looking at the other 3 for approval. They all nodded their heads in agreement before Ricky checked his phone.
"Oh my gosh!" He half yelled. "It is 9:31! Oh my gosh! We are one minute late! Girl, it is time for you to get to bed!"
I let out a small laugh at him "ok thanks Ricky" I said standing up walking upstairs. I was just to the top step when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw Ricky, Kian, Jc, and Connor behind me.
"Well we wouldn't let you go to bed with making sure you were ok and saying goodnight now would we?" Connor asked in his best parenting voice. I smiled at them and walked to my room at the end of the hall. I flipped on the lights and hopped into my new bed. It seriously felt like sleeping on a cloud! I didn't realize how tired I was until I felt covers being put over me. I snuggled into them and closed my eyes.
