I put on the dress I bought yesterday. I looked at myself in the mirror. I really love the navy blue dress. The colour seemed to differ; it looks like navy blue but sometimes it looks like royal blue. However, it's still blue, right?

I then paid attention on my hair. How am I suppose to style it? Should I tie it into a bun? Or a ponytail? I stared at it through the mirror for a few minute.

I finally got an idea! Dara unnie knows how to style hairs very much. I paced out of the room and knocked on the door opposite my room. After a while, Dara unnie finally opened the door.

"You're not done?" she asked.
"You're gonna be late!" she exclaimed.

I smiled at her.

"Is Jiyong fetching you?" she asked.

I shook my head. "I have two hours, unnie."

"Two hours to get ready or to the prom?" she asked.

"Prom will be starting in two hours," I said.

"Then we shouldn't waste any time. Is there anything I can help?" she asked.

"I don't know how to style my hair," I said, untying my hair.

"Leave it like that," she said.

"Mwoh?" I asked.

She walked towards me. "Just leave it untie." She then flipped my hair and let it fall on my shoulders. "It's beautiful."

I smiled upon her comment. "Is it fine?"

"Yeah, you're done," she replied.

"Alright, I'm left with shoes then," I said, descending the stairs with Dara unnie following me from behind.

"You bought them too yesterday?" she asked.

"Yes I did," I responded, taking my heels out of the box to put them on.

After putting them on, I turned to Dara unnie. "I'll be going now. Thanks for your help." I hugged her.

"Are you driving there?" she asked, letting go of the embrace.

"Yeah," I responded.

"Drive safely then," she said, sending me to my car. "Have fun!"

I parked my car at the usual place, although it looked different that night. Probably, I was so used to it in the day. I got out of my car, locked it and walked towards the hall which they transferred into a ballroom.

I entered the ballroom and was amazed at how wonderful they had transferred it into. There was tables and chairs, stage, dance floor and disco ball. There was a buffet of food and few choices of drinks with plates and cups prepared beside them.

As soon as I entered, I saw Lydia with her boyfriend eating. I decided to join but my steps were stopped by the presence of Jiyong at the drinks booth. I was looking at him with Youngbae when he finally realised I was there. He then smiled at me. I walked towards him and Youngbae, not wanting him to leave Youngbae alone.

"Jiyong and Youngbae oppa," I greeted and bowed at them.

Youngbae and Jiyong smiled at me.

"You know, you can direct me informally just like you do to Jiyong," said Youngbae.

I nodded, understanding what he said.

"Alone?" I asked.

"Didn't get myself a date," he said, laughing at his silliness.

I smiled. "Well, you can spend your night with us."

"Aniya, I don't want to disturb the both of you. Tonight is your night," he said, pushing us both towards the dance floor.

I looked at him feeling worried for him. Why didn't he get himself a date? How can someone be all alone during a prom night? At the same time, I felt guilty. If I wasn't here, Jiyong would be accompanying him.

Jiyong and I exchanged glances and then looked at Youngbae who just smiled at us and gave us the sign that he's fine. I looked at Jiyong who just smiled at him and then looked at me.

"Have you eaten?" I asked.

He shook his head. "I want to eat with you."

"What about Youngbae?" I questioned.

"He hasn't eat too," he responded.

"Let's ask him to eat together with us," I said, pulling him towards Youngbae without waiting for him to agree.

"Youngbae," I called him informally as told.

He turned and looked at me. "Yes?"

After letting go of Jiyong, I pulled him towards the buffet, took a plate and handed it to him. "Eat," I demanded.

"With you guys?" he asked, looking at both Jiyong and I.

I looked at Jiyong who was nodding in response.

"Aren't I disturbing your night?" he asked.

"We can spend time together. It's not only our night," I said, referring to Jiyong and I.

"Alright then," he said, agreeing to us.

After taking our foods and drinks, we walked to our table to eat. After having a nice chat while eating, we finally decided to give our seat to other students and went to the dance floor. By that time, a slow song was played by the DJ.

"Would you like to dance with me?" Jiyong asked.

I turned to look at Youngbae who was smiling, looking at us. I was really scared to leave him alone. It's not that I like him, but I really do not want to leave anyone behind especially on that night, prom night.

"Don't worry about me, Chaerin. I'm waiting for someone." he said, knowing what I was thinking that moment.

I then looked at Jiyong and agreed to dance with him.

"Chaerin-ah," he called.

I looked at him, making eye contact with each other.

"You look so beautiful tonight," he said, tucking my hair behind my ear.

I chuckled at his comment. He then looked at his watch and pulled me out of the hall.

"Jiyong," I called him, shocked to the sudden pull.

We then stopped at the balcony. He held me by my waist. I shivered as I was shocked but managed to calm myself down. His touch felt like a current.

"Chaerin," he called.

I looked at him, waiting for him to say whatever it is.

"Look up, my dear," he said.

I obeyed and looked at the sky. At that moment, I heard a blast. I heard explosion, but it is a different explosion. The sky was filled with colourful and different sizes of fireworks. It continued exploding for few minutes and I enjoyed it.

While I was enjoying the sight, Jiyong called me. I turned to look at him. He then bent forward, closing the distance between our faces. I was shocked but getting myself prepared at the same. When we were around a few centimetres away, I stopped him by touching his chest. He then leaned his forehead on mine as we giggled, letting the sound of explosions break the silence between us.
