Jiyong's P.O.V

I looked at the date that had been crossed out. 21st May. I am really excited for the trip actually. I picked the calendar up, staring at the date carefully. I will always remember that date, a date full of happiness and sadness. I opened up my journal and looked at all the activities written under 21st May.

21st May:
The day we met

21st May:
The day I confessed and she accepted my love

21st May:
The day I got to know she's engaged

My tears were trying to roll down, but I tried to prevent it from rolling. I closed my eyes tightly.
I heard someone opening the door. I opened my eyes and wiped the tears that were almost rolling down. I turned, looking at the door and saw Youngbae closing the door.

"Hey, Jiyong," greeted Youngbae softly.

"Hey," I greeted back softly. I quickly closed my journal.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Just writing lyrics," I answered.

"Can I read it?" he asked.

"Sure," I replied, handing the notes to him.

'She is leaving
And I can't do anything
Love is leaving
Like a fool, I'm blankly standing here

I'm looking at her, getting farther away
She becomes a small dot and then disappears
Will this go away after time passes?
I remember the old times
I remember you'

"Nice one," he commented.

"Thanks." It really feels good hearing it.
"Well, this is just the starting. I really have no idea to continue it," I complained like a little kid.

"I'm sure you'll get some later. You're a great writer." he complimented.

I smiled. "I hope so, I'll then can finish the song."

"Anyway, are you done packing?" he asked

"Have not started. How about you?"

"Same," he sniggered.

I smiled. He stared at me and I stared back. 'Don't tell me he's going to talk about it again.'
Talking about it can be really frustrating actually.

"May I ask you something?" he asked.

"Sure," I shrugged

"About the trip," he seemed a little reluctant to ask the question.
"What's your purpose?" he continued

Seeing me silent, he seemed a little guilty with his question.
"Don't get me wrong. I just, you know,"

I interrupted his sentence, "I just wanted a break. I wanna go somewhere, relax but I don't want to go alone."

He nodded.
"Well, about the date? Why did you pick that day?"

I looked at my journal, which was closed. I sighed.
I walked towards the couch and he followed me.

"I don't know. The date is just,"

"special?" he interrupted

"Maybe," I shrugged

"Jiyong."

"I just feel that I need to forget about that day, the relationship, everything about her but I just," I sighed. "I just can't." I buried my face in my hands.

He patted my back. His pat is the best. It will really calm me down, a little.

"Hey, come on," I felt him standing up.

I looked up at him and saw him smiling.

"Lunch," he invited

"With the others?"

"Of course!"

I smiled. "I'll see you outside."

He nodded and left the room. I cleared up my things on the table and exited the room to meet the others.
I arrived at the carpark and they were already in Seunghyun hyung's car, waiting for me. I entered the car and sat beside Seungri. I put my seatbelt on and Seunghyun hyung drove off.

I threw myself on the couch, feeling so tired. It was a great day! However, it was really tiring.
Tomorrow is the day and I haven't pack my things. I looked at my watch. '11 pm. Eomma must be awake.' I took out my phone and dial her number.

"Yeoboseyo," greeted eomma who was at the end of the phone

"Eomma!"

"Jiyong-ah! How are you?" she asked

"I'm fine. How about you?"

"I'm good."

"Eomma, I'm going to Jeju with the other members."

"Well then, have fun!"

"I haven't packed my clothes," I complained like a little kid.

"What time are you leaving?" she asked. I can hear the worry of a mother in her when she asked.

"Tomorrow morning," I replied

"Haish niga!" she shouted
"I told you to get married so your wife can do such things for you, but you refused." she nagged

"I didn't. I said it's not the right time yet." I stood up for my right. How to get married when you don't have anyone in your heart. But it is not impossible, right?

"Arasseo," she gave up.
"I should hang up now huh? Go pack up and have fun tomorrow."

"Ah geurae."

'toot toot' she hung up. I sighed.

'Got work to do." I went up to my room and started packing.
