I opened my eyes and looked at the time. 9 am. Lazily, I got out of bed, took my toiletries and entered the bathroom to take a bath.

After a nice 30-minutes bath, I took the top and short skirt I ironed the night before. I put them on and worked on my hair. After looking at myself and adjusting my hair for five minutes, I finally decided to let my hair go. I grabbed my bag and went down to pack my breakfast.

"Good morning, sister. You look nice today," Dara unnie gave a comment about my outfit.

"Good morning," I greeted.

Dara unnie passed me my breakfast that she had packed for me. I thanked and hugged her before leaving home for school. I got in my car, put on my seatbelt, started the engine and drove off.

I didn't have my breakfast in the car as I decided to have a proper breakfast at the school café. I didn't want to trouble Dara unnie by doing the dishes after eating breakfast. After all, she has to rush to work too.

I arrived school two hours early as my first class was postponed to the afternoon. I parked my car at the usual place and walked towards the school café. The café wasn't crowded as the day before. Probably they had gone for their classes.

I went to the counter to order my drinks. "One latte please." The man then punched in my order into the computer.

"$3.50 please," he told me the price and I handed the money to him. After a while, he gave me the drink I ordered, smiling. I smiled back before taking the drink and chose a seat.

I sat at the corner of the café, beside the big glass window.

"Chaerin,"

I was staring out of the window when I heard someone pulling the chair opposite me and called my name. I turned and looked at the person sitting opposite me. He was smiling at me. I smiled back. Nope, he didn't look hurt, but I have to apologise right?

"Jiyong, I'm sorry for last night," I apologised.

"Ani, gwaenchanha. I know you were tired," he said, smiling.

I smiled. He is indeed an understanding man.

"You don't have class this morning?" I asked.

"Nope, it was cancelled," he replied.

"Where's Youngbae oppa? I didn't see him for a long time." I asked. Yes, I gave respect to his friends as he didn't want me to call him 'oppa'.

"He's coming later. He got to know that our class was cancelled earlier." he answered.

I nodded and sipped my latte.

"Had your breakfast?" I asked.

He smiled. "I'll order later."

I nodded and started eating my breakfast that Dara unnie had prepared.

"Chaerin," he called.

I looked at him. How I wish I can look at him like this everyday, stare at him without making him feel uncomfortable, although I didn't know if he would feel uncomfortable.

"There will be prom this Friday night." he stated.

"Jinjja?" I widened my eyes, excited.

"Yeah, and you haven't answer my question," he said.

"What question?" I asked.

He smiled.
"I shall ask again then."

I continued looking at him who was taking something out of his pocket.

He handed me a flower bracelet and asked, "Will you be my date to the prom?"

I smiled, looking at the bracelet. It was beautiful, really beautiful. I then looked at him who was expecting a positive answer. Looking at him, I remembered Hyelin unnie.

"You aren't going with Hyelin unnie?" I asked.

He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Why would I go with her?"

"She likes you, doesn't she?" I said.

"That's not my problem," he stated, serious.

I sensed anger. Oh garsh, I just ruined his mood that morning. Feeling guilty, I apologised to him.

"I'll go with you to the prom then," I said, taking the bracelet from him.

His smile was back to his face as soon as I agreed.
