Avengers: Preferences (Under Editing)

You and Me (TonyxReader)

"Oh would you just come here?" You yelled over your shoulder.

It was Christmas time in New York, and the Avengers tower was being stormed.

Stormed by Christmas decorations, that is. Everybody was in their pajamas, and Christmas music was blasting through the halls.

You, Steve, Tony, Bruce, and Wanda were decorating the tree while Thor, Vision, Nat, Bucky, and Pietro made cookies and hot chocolate. Barton was with his "secret family".

Your boyfriend of 3 years, Tony, sighed and brought you the decoration you were asking for. When the golden glass ornament passed from his hand to yours, his hand lingered. He looked at you with the most heart melting of expressions.

"I love you (Y/N/H)" he said with a dazzling smile.

"I love you too Tony." you replied contentedly.

Suddenly, as if pulled out of a daydream, Tony looked at Steve nervously.

Steve nodded, and the secret meaning of the gesture intrigued you. Honestly, it kind of scared you. What in the world could those two be up to?

"Is there something that I should know?" you ask incredulously.

"No, hah, no not at all (Y/N/H). Nothing going on here!" stuttered the usually smooth talking Stark.

Steve hit him on the arm and smiled reassuringly at you. "Don't worry, everything's fine here (Y/N/H)."

You squinted at the slick super soldier. "Right, uh huh. Well I'm going to the kitchen." You said walking warily away.

You walked into the kitchen to find the group whispering excitedly among themselves. Bucky was talking to Nat, and was the first one to see you. He suddenly straightened and alerted the others of your presence.

"Hey there (Y/N/H)! Wha-what's up?" He asked loudly.

"What is going on here?" you asked suspiciously. "Why is everyone acting so strange?"

Bucky froze in wide eyed shock. His mouth hung open until Nat stepped in.

"He's just being his normal weird self, don't worry." She said walking over to you.

She slung an arm around you. "What do you say we grab Wanda and go upstairs to watch a movie? All these guys are sure wearing on my nerves," she said with a smile, "Besides they've got things to do, right boys?" She finished menacingly.

"R-right yeah we will. Don't worry!" Bucky rushed.

You still weren't convinced nothing was up, but smiled at the nice sounding idea. "Sure, sounds good to me."

With that you went to the living room, picked up Wanda, and went upstairs to Nat's room. Once there, Nat handed you a movie to put in.

"What is this?" You asked curiously.

Wanda smiled widely. "Just put it in and don't worry about it, silly goose."

You shrugged and put in the disk. Soon the screen lit up and you were taken aback. In front of you was a picture of you and Tony, after your first date.
