Both Naruto and Sasuke laid down on the ground panting while Sakura loomed over them, looking down at the both of them.

"Heh I won teme, admit it." Naruto demanded and Sasuke scoffed.

"No I won dobe."

"Nu-uh I was the winner you teme!"

"Tch! Idiot!"

"What'd ya call me you emo!"

"Loser!"

"Agh! Sasuke you, you duckbutt!"

"Foxy!"

"TOMATO FREAK!"

"Ramen freak!"

"MOMMA'S BOY!"

"Stupid!"

"You ar-"

"UGH SHUT UP YOU TWO! NEITHER OF YOU WON!" Sakura interrupted.

"What! But somebody has to win!" Naruto screeched getting to his feet.

"Fine!" Sakura snapped gaining both Sasuke's and Naruto's attention. "The winner is....." both Naruto and Sasuke leaned in closer to hear. "Me!" Sakura ended with a smile.

"WHAT!" Both boys shouted staring at her in disbelief.

"You heard me, I won. I'm the one who has the most chakra left." Sakura said as she turned to walk away.

"BUT YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Naruto complained.

"Exactly." Sakura said as she walked away. Before she was out of hearing range she turned back and smiled at the two boys. "By the way I suggest leaving immediately there are a couple angry people coming that you wouldn't really want face in your state." Both Naruto and Sasuke stared at her retreating figure in confusion until they hear a distant scream.

"NARUTO, SASUKE, SAKURA, YOU BETTER RUN!"

'Oh shoot' They both thought before sprinting off.

The three Genin groaned as they laid against the grass.  Sakura was tired of waiting for Kakashi, and well Naruto and Sasuke were just sore.  They didn't make it away from Kushina, Minato, or Kakashi in time.

"Tch what's that guy doing that makes us wait so long?" Sasuke growled.

"Probably rereading his books." Naruto said.

"How can he openly read that stuff in public!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Kakashi sensei is weird like that, okay?  I know that Itachi would never do that." Sasuke stated and Sakura rolled her eyes.

"My dad would never do that either!" He claimed rather loudly.

"You two, I don't know how I deal with you guys." Sakura sighed.

"Speaking of parents, Sakura how is it going at home?" Naruto asked cautiously.  Sakura sighed and unconsciously rubbed her arms.

"I don't know what to say.  It hasn't gotten any better." She mumbled averting her gaze to the ground.

"You need to tell someone." Sasuke stated making Sakura sigh and shake her head.  "Why!  Why don't you fight back?"

"Asking me that is like asking you why you don't fight back against your father. Deep down you know that you don't want to hurt them." Sakura mumbled.  Sasuke sighed in frustration she had a point. Even though his father was planning on sending him away he didn't fight him.

"But if-"

"Hey sorry I'm late I lost all of my books on the path of life." A voice interrupted.  Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto all turned to glare at Kakashi.  Kakashi noticing their glared chuckled nervously.  "Well shall we get started?"

"And what are we doing today sensei?" Naruto asked excitedly as he withdrew his glare.

"We have a mission!" Kakashi claimed.

"What kind of mission." Sasuke questioned smoothly and Kakashi sighed.

"We have to go find Tora again." He said.

All the Genin groaned.

"..........Well see you tomorrow!" And with that Kakashi poofed away.

"Hey let's go get some ramen!" Naruto exclaimed.

"I can't I've got get home or else my father won't be too happy, but then again he's never happy." Sakura said before shrugging. "Eh who cares, lets go!" Naruto grinned and turned to Sasuke.

"Come on Sasuke, lets go!" Naruto said, not waiting for Sasuke's answer he grabbed Sasuke's arm and started running, dragging Sasuke with him. Sakura sighed and followed shaking her head with a small smile.

Sasuke and Sakura both noticed the glares the villagers would give Naruto. Naruto seemed oblivious to it as he dragged Sasuke along while babbling on about anything and everything. Once they reached the ramen stand and sat down, two people who were also sitting and eating noticed Naruto and quickly walked away.

"Ahh Naruto!" The owner of the stand, Teuchi, said with a smile. "You want your regular?" Naruto nodded excitedly and Sakura and Sasuke placed their orders. While they were waiting on their ramen they turned to Naruto who sat in between them.

"Why haven't you told your father about the villagers yet like you said you would?" Sakura asked. Naruto looked at both Sakura and Sasuke before answering.

"Because Tou-chan is to busy with his work. And besides if I do tell him then he'd tell the villagers to stop glaring at me. But I don't want him to do that. I want to earn the villagers respect on my own." Sasuke sighed.

"You're too knuckle-headed dobe."

"Aww tha-WAIT WHAT! Say that again you teme!" Sasuke smirked and opened his mouth, but before he could speak a hand covered his mouth and he looked up to see Sakura glaring at him.

"If you guys start fighting again I will punch you so hard you'll fly right into next century."

Both boys gulped and kept quiet.

Sakura waved goodbye and ran off to her house. The lights were off. That meant her parents were asleep, good. She slowly opened the front door and quietly crept into her room.

'This isn't right.' She thought shaking her head. 'I shouldn't have to sneak into the house like I would if I was in an enemy ninja's base. This is ridiculous, and don't think I can handle much more.'

A/N: And that's all for this chapter! I know it's short, and I know it sucks, but please bear with me. I'm not that good at starting out stories, so I'm trying my hardest to make this story good. I already know what I'm going to do later in the story it's just this part of the story that I'm struggling with. Thanks for reading and see ya next chapter.
