XX: Rainbow gods Don't Exist

"Man this just got more serious than I thought." Sasuke said. Naruto looked at him.

"What do you mean? You heard Tsunade, what if Kabuto is trying to summon a rainbow god?" Naruto asked. Sasuke and Sakura both gave him a look.

"Naruto, he wasn't trying to summon a rainbow god. They don't even exist in our world." Sakura said.

"Oh." Naruto said as the three began walking away from the ramen stand. "So, what are we gonna do next? I mean, I don't know if you guys want to stay here or not."

"I'm not sure. There is this guy I want to meet though. He's a medic expert and I want him to teach me, but we don't have to worry about that now." Sakura said rubbing the back of her head.

"You know Tsunade is a medic expert right?" Sasuke asked.

"Hehe, yea but this guy isn't just a medic expert, he's got so much more talents n'stuff." Sakura said. "And he's kind of cute."

"Who is he?" Naruto asked.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out." Sakura said with a smile. "What about you two. What are you gonna do while we're here?"

"I want to find pervy sage again. I need to talk to him about somethings." Naruto said as the three reached their hotel building.

"I'm gonna do some research." Sasuke stated.  Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"About what?" He asked leaning forward.  Sasuke rolled his eyes and pushed Naruto back a bit.

"The sharingan."  He answered.

"Dude, your clan has so many scrolls on that haven't you read them all or something?  I mean seriously."  Naruto claimed. 

"Yes, but those scrolls are written by the people with the sharingan.  I want to see something from another point of view.  If you get what I mean."  Naruto stood there contemplating and sighed.  "But I don't expect you too."

"Jiraiya isn't here." The slick voice of Orochimaru announced. Naruto scoffed and crossed his arms.

"Where is he then? Peeping on the girls in the hot spring?" He asked throwing his hands into the air.

"Good guess, but no. Tsunade left and Jiraiya followed to make sure she doesn't destroy a town. They should be back sometime today or possibly tomorrow.  That's how this usually goes."  Naruto frowned and turned around.

"Thanks creepy dude."  Naruto said before walking away back towards his hotel room.

'What can I do?  Sakura has this guy she wants to find, Sasuke has his research.  Pervy sage is gone so I can't interrogate him.'  He almost pulled his hair out of his head in frustration.  Then something caught his eye.

"Itachi."  Minato greeted.

"Hokage-sama."  Itachi said back with a slight bow. 

"Look at this please."  Minato said handing him a file.  Itachi nodded and began scanning through it with his eyes.  He was slightly surprised at what he saw, but some part of him expected this.  "Is there anything you could add on to my observations about Sakura's parents?" 

"Sasuke didn't like them."  Was the first thing he said.  "He always had a hate for them but he never told me why.  I know he wanted to but he just couldn't."  Itachi stated.  Minato nodded and sighed.

"Anything else?"  He asked hopefully.

"When Sasuke was really angry, he would come home from training ranting about how much he hated Sakura's parents.  One day he let it slip that his reason for hating them had something to do with Sakura."  Itachi explained.  "If I'm allowed to ask," Itachi began waiting for permission.  The Hokage nodded.  "Do you really believe that her parents abused her?"  Minato sighed. 

"Yes Itachi, I do."  Minato said with a very serious expression that Itachi mirrored.  "With the information you just gave me I'm sure of it, but I have to physical proof.  I would need Sakura to be here so we can actually prove it.  She left and now we have no way of proving it."

"I heard from kaa-chan that Mebuki was expecting.  Apparently she's almost a month in."  Itachi stated to which Minato sighed and rubbed his head in frustration.  

"I'm aware.  Kushina told me they were hoping for a boy.  This only makes it harder to find the truth."

"What are you doing here you frog?" Naruto asked with surprise. "I thought that you would've went with pervy sage."

"I'm a toad!" Gamakichi growled glaring at Naruto.  Naruto just rolled his eyes and picked Gamakichi up from where he was sitting.  Gamakichi glared and decided to spit a small water bullet in Naruto's face.  Naruto shouted and dropped the toad glaring.  "Anyways, Master Jiraiya left with Tsunade so I got nothing to do." Naruto wiped the water off his face and glared.  

"What was that for?" Naruto questioned loudly.

"You called me a frog, so I decided I'd show you what a frog could do." Gamakichi said returning the glare Naruto gave him.  

"Tch.  Stupid toad."  Naruto mumbled.  "If only Sakura wasn't shopping I'd tell her to pummel you."

"Oh so you're that type of guy."  Naruto gave the toad a confused look.  "You're so weak you have a girl come and fight for you."  

"YOU LITTLE-" Naruto began to run after Gamakichi who was hopping away. 

The chase seemed to go on for awhile. Naruto creating shadow clones, and every time he got close enough to Gamakichi, the toad would shoot a water bullet that caused him to slip and fall, or just shoot on at his face.  Finally, just as Naruto was about to catch the toad, Gamakichi jumped over a figure and Naruto ran into it.

"Hey!" The figure shouted.

"Wha-oh hey pervy sage!"

Yo, I have a question.  So you know how I did that plot question back in chapter XV The Person Behind It? Well I was wondering if I should involve you guys  more and do more plot questions when I get the opportunity to.  You guys decide.

A/N: Short chapter I know.  Sorry?  Yea I'm just really tired right now soooooooo.  I WILL BE UPDATING NEXT WEEK I'M NOT SURE IF THE UPDATE WILL BE LATE OR NOT BUT I WILL UPDATE!
