XII: Menma, Ahiru, and Gaku

"You have a katana."  Orochimaru stated looking at the weapon attached to Sasuke's back.  "You must be a ninja.  But you're so young.  If you're an ninja, then where is your forehead protector."

"Where's yours?" Sasuke countered, not wanting him, Naruto, or Sakura to be seen as suspicious.  Orochimaru smirked and turned to his two accomplices.

"I'll go book our hotel room." He stated before walking away. 

"Sorry about him, he can be very weird sometimes." Jiraiya said in a whisper, covering his mouth so Tsunade wouldn't see.

"Hn, reminds me of someone." Sasuke looked to Naruto.  "Ring any bells Dobe?" 

"Yea!  Teme, kinda reminds me of you!" 

"Dobe reminds me of you!"

"Well Teme you must have a bad memory."

"Really Dobe?" The two began to bicker.  Sakura looked at Jiraiya.

"Look what you just started!  You're going to be the one who stops it."  She gave Sasuke a look, then shared a look with Tsunade and they both walked out of the shop.  Sasuke took the hint and stopped fighting with Naruto, leaned over the counter to the ramen shop owner who was waiting for the bill and whispered something.  Then he grabbed Naruto by the sleeve and said,

"C'mon dobe we need to get our hotel room."  Before sprinting out with Naruto.  Jiraiya turned around to leave with Gamakichi on his shoulder but stopped when he heard an expectant cough.  He turned around and saw the shop owner holding up the unpaid bill and realized why Sasuke was in a hurry to leave.

"Those brats!" Jiraiya shouted seeing the price circled in red.

"I'm assuming those two are your teammates?" Sakura asked the older woman as they made their way towards a gambling house, to which Tsunade nodded. "You're one of the three Sannin. Tsunade Senju- Granddaughter of the First Hokage, Master of Medical Ninjutsu, and summoner of slugs." Tsunade looked at the girl through the corner of her eye.

"You sure do know a lot about me kid." Tsunade stated.

"Well, it's always good to know a lot about the person you look up to the most." Sakura claimed before walking past the gambling house and into a hotel.  Tsunade froze.  As she watched Sakura's retreating figure she got a distant look in her eye.

"It's always good to know about the person you look up to most.  Isn't that right Tsunade-sama?"

She squeezed her eyes shut and walked into the gambling house.

"You were tricked by 13 year olds?  Man you're an idiot." Orochimaru punched the bridge of his nose in annoyance and rubbed his forehead with his free hand.  Jiraiya glared with his arms crossed.

"I thought they already paid the bill." Jiraiya shouted throwing his arms in the air. Orochimaru rolled his eyes.

"Of course out of all three of us, you're the one who is tricked by a group of 13 year olds." Orochimaru mumbled.

"Eh, he got you there." Gamakichi piped in. Jiraiya glared at him and he huffed. The door swung open and Tsunade walked in carrying sacks with, what they assumed was, money. She gave them a stern stare as she set down the bags on the bed. One of them fell over and some coins fell out.

"Something bad's gonna happen. Or something bad has happened."

"Yea," Orochimaru began. "This idiot was fooled by a group of kids."  Tsunade glared at the both of them.

"This is serious, it might have something to do with why Gamakichi is here.  Take it seriously you bumbling fools."

Sakura was met with two glares the moment she walked in the hotel room.

"Duck?"  Sasuke asked.

"Noodle?" Naruto followed. Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Like you have room to talk.  You called me forehead!" She exclaimed gesturing to her forehead.  "And besides, we need  to figure out what we're gonna do."

"Well that one guy- Jiraiya, he's definitely going to be mad about having to pay for the ramen, I mean, did you see how much the dobe ate? That's a lot to pay for!" Sasuke claimed.

"Free food is the best." Naruto said patting his hands on his stomach. Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"That other guy, Orochimaru, he seemed suspicious of us." He stated Sakura nodded.

"I suggest we lay low for a little bit. These are the three sannin so tricking them won't be easy. I'm surprised we even got this far without gaining their attention." Sakura explained.

"So we should all act like Naruto."
Sasuke suggested.

"Hey!" Naruto shouted.  "Why me!"

"Because you're like the dumbest of us three dobe."

"Oh yea teme?"

"Shut up you two!  You guys are so annoying!  I'm going to the hot springs to relax and try and think of something." Sakura said grabbing a bag and walking out of the hotel room.  Naruto looked at Sasuke.

"So teme what do we do now?"

"I don't know dobe."

"Let's go look around town!" Naruto cheered running out the door to which Sasuke sighed and shook his head.

As the two were walking around town, the passed the hot springs and heard loud, obnoxious giggling coming from the girls side. And the giggling definitely wasn't from a girl.  They made their way over to the hot springs slowly, so they could find the source of the noise.  As they got closer the giggling got louder and they glared at the person causing it.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Naruto asked loudly.  "YOU PERVERT, YOU CAN'T JUST PEEP ON UNSUSPECTING GIRLS LIKE THAT!"  The area went silent until a bunch of female screaming was heard with splashing water. "Wait, isn't Sakura-chan in there?" Naruto asked nervously.

"Your friend left when I arrived." Jiraiya growled out scowling at the two.  "Why'd you have to ruin my research?"

"You call that research?"  Sasuke asked lowly.  His mother raised him to respect women, and he was going to do that.  "You're just a low life pervert.  It's a wonder how even obtained the title of legendary sannin with a habit like that." He stated dryly.  Jiraiya growled glaring at Sasuke. 

"I'll show you what a legendary sannin can do boy." Jiraiya stated doing hand signs.  Sasuke noticed and activated his sharingan and doing different hand signs.  Jiraiya noticed Sasuke's sharingan and stopped his hand signs with a smirk.  "Orochimaru was right to be suspicious of you." Sasuke slowed.  "You're the Missing Uchiha boy we've heard about.  If that's correct you must be his teammate.....Uzumaki.  And that last one, pinky, the Haruno." Jiraiya claimed.  Sasuke froze and his sharingan deactivated.  Turning around he grabbed Naruto and stormed off.

"What are we going to do teme?" Naruto asked as they neared the hotel building. 

"We need to talk to Sakura."

Standing there, watching them leave Jiraiya finally realized something.

"Wait, NO WONDER THE BRAT EATS SO MUCH RAMEN! IT'S KUSHINA'S SON!"
