about me
Is real
Shielded by a mask that you have rarely seen
The pain the hurt
is opened up to you
I can count on you for a smile
We've been friends for a while
An angel sent to me
to wipe away the tears
I'll pour out the words to you
Hope that you understand
Because I am shielded by a mask
That too many see
A mask that is so important to me
My heart is a lock and my friends have the key
Yet some see me shielded by a mask
But not you
