In Love With My Fan (BTS Fanfiction)

Chapter 3

One thing people don't know about me is that, I've been practicing singing for a long time now. Nobody knows that I can sing not even my parents. My dream is to be a K-pop Star. However, my parents disagree with my hopes and dreams. With my parent disagreement, I decided to practice my singing secretly. I practice far from home and school. Lets just say I practice at a park before coming home on. I knew it, practicing singing will come in handy someday.

It's a good thing today I don't have school. I get to stay home and work on my singing. My parents are out for a trip, and I have the whole house and week to myself, I don't have any siblings so that won't be a problem for me. Now here's the hard part, which song should I cover, I love them all. Maybe I should sing an old song, nah too old, their current new song, no a lot of fans are gonna do that. Why is picking a song so hard, I thought to myself.

*Bling* (text message)

"Hey you want to go out today"- Hei Ran.

Maybe I should go out, it might help me with picking a song. "Sure meet me at the bbq shop"-my respond.

I waited at least five minute at the bbq shop for HeI-Ran.

"Hei Ran, over here",I waved as she entered.

Hei Ran was not alone, she brought a boy with her. "Who's this?", I asked quietly.

"Hwa-Young, meet my boyfriend, Haneul, Kim Hanel".

"Ah, Annyeonhaseyeo (hello in Korean), as I bow. I've seen him before, but where?

He bow back, but he gave me a weird stare, " OH, aren't you the girl that met Jin from BTS?", he points at me.

"Heh.. ah, yeah", I smiled, "Wait how did you know?"

"I was there, behind the music booth unpacking", he respond.

No wonder he looks so familiar. I knew I saw him before.

"Wait, Hwa- Young, the other day when you told me you met Jin, you were telling the truth", question Hei Ran.

"I told you. I wasn't lying, but you didn't believe me", I joked with her.

We ate my favorite food bbq beef and chat. Trying to get to know one another.

"Hwa-Young, did you hear the announcement Rapmonster made last night?", asked Hei Ran.

I swallowed my food and then answer, "Yeah. I'm gonna enter the contest", I said stuffing my face with food.

"You are you sure, you don't even know how to sing", she said.

"YA! DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!!!", I yelled as I poked the meat.

After eating, I told Hei Ran and Haneul, I have to go home since my parents are not home. Going out didn't help me at all, I still don't know which song I should cover. "What should I cover, which song, uh, why does it have to be so hard?", I cried as I walked home.

And then, it hit me, I should sing one of the cover song that Taehyung cover. I remember him covering Adele 'Someone Like You'. Yes, that's it I'll just cover that song. I ran home and started to record myself sing. It's a good thing Dad still have the microphone from that yard sale.

After singing, I quickly post it on twitter, and tweet it to BTS's twitter page. "Please, please, please let me win, just this once", I pray, as I click post.
