Jason had watched her sleep a lot that night. Emily slept mostly peaceful, save for the few mumbles of words he never could quite make out. When it came morning, Emily hid her face for a few moments, not noticing him watching her. She had a dream last night that she was none too proud of, though the thought made her smile. That was, until she moved around and remembered her injuries and all of the things she would have to go through before she could even begin to be halfway normal.

"Morning. Sleep good?"

"Yeah, I did. I thought you'd be asleep by now. Don't you work tonight?" Jason shrugged.

"Yes, I was actually about to get ready for bed."

"Would you mind helping me to the bathroom? I'd like to get into some of my own clothes, too."

"No problem."

Jason went and got her bag for her. Emily picked out a simple flared skirt and shirt for today, then cursed Tiffany. Emily made sure to hide the lingerie Tiffany had not so sneakily put into her bag. She knew her friend had bought it for her, because it looked like it would fit her perfect and still had the price tag. Jason helped her go to the bathroom and dress. She was surprisingly getting a little more comfortable around him.

"So, I was thinking that we could begin some of your physical therapy after I wake up. We need to work on strengthening your muscles again. It won't be long before you can get those casts off and just wear braces sometimes. You look to be healing really well and fairly quickly." Emily grimaced. She was worried about this part, but was also excited to hopefully begin doing more things for herself. But that also meant her time with Jason would be coming closer to an end.

"Good, just a little higher. Come on, I know you can do it. You've done so well today, you'll be moving on your own in no time."

Emily had walked a few steps with the help of crutches and Jason's strength holding her up. Her cast dragged for the most part, but she was making progress. Her arms had lost strength too, from the lack of use. Not that she was superwoman before her accident, but it was still hard work. Jason was patient with her, speaking words of encouragement when she got tired and her arms started shaking.

After she finished her therapy Emily's muscles hurt. Jason ordered her some dinner and left for his shift. Emily enjoyed not having to worry about her figure for now. The carbs she ate would help to get her previous figure back, which she was happy about. Something about Jason made her feel even less self-conscious. She didn't think of her scars or fading bruises. She just felt normal. Emily supposed that this feeling was because they had a good doctor/patient trust stablished. Though, somewhere in the back of her mind, Emily knew that the liking she had for him was a little bit more than the average patient.

"So, you still have company at your house?"

"Yeah, Emily is still there. She's doing really well. And to be honest, I don't mind her being there. Am I crazy?" It was a weekday and Jason was working in his clinic, currently talking to his one secretary. Mrs. Wahls was a women who very well could be Jason's mother. She was old enough to be, but she did great work. Jason often went to her for advice that he couldn't ask his own parents.

"Jacey boy, I don't think you're crazy at all. In fact, I think you're beginning to fancy that girl."

"What? No, she's beautiful but I'm her doctor. I'm just doing what is best for my patient. My methods are just a tad bit different than your average doctor." Mrs. Wahls gave Jason a knowing look and simply said,
