All I Want Is You

Chapter 1

"I can't believe I'm about to do this."

I look back at my motorcycle parked in front of the house, wishing I could just drive away and go back home.

"That's not your home anymore Jade."

"Oh shut up stupid conscience" I mumble and ring the doorbell.  After a few moments I can hear someone walking towards the door and I quickly run my fingers through my hair and stand up a little straighter.

"Whatever you're selling-"the guy says opening the door but stop abruptly when he sees me.  His eyes travel up and down my body slowly, a small smile playing at his lips, "You must be Jade, am I right?"

"Yeah, and you are?" I ask taking a quick glance at him. He's cute, pretty tall probably around 6 feet and he has red hair that looks like it hasn't been combed through in days.

"I'm John, one of your many new pack mates" he says smiling.

"Wow, you're parents are unique, John...never heard that name before" I say sarcastically and the moment it comes out my mouth I smack myself mentally. I've GOT to stop saying whatever's on my mind, or I'll never fit in here.

But luckily John just laughs and ushers me in, "Yeah I know, but my mom was a little too busy giving birth to pick a name so she just named me after the doctor."

"Your doctor? Wow your dad must've been pretty mad, I mean if she couldn't think of a name why not name him after his father?" I say smirking.

"I never said I understood my parents' way of thinking" he says shrugging slightly. "So you ready for the best 10 minute tour of your life?"

"We're going to see the whole house in 10 minutes? Its huge there's no way" I say looking around. The house is HUGE, as in so much space we could probably keep an orphanage just in the den. There's like 5 different halls leading to lord knows where and a stair case leading upstairs by the front door.

"Well I'll only show you the important stuff first and later if you want I can show you the rest or you can go exploring by yourself." He says putting his arm through mine and pulling me towards one of the halls. We walk until we reach the kitchen and I laugh while shaking my head slightly.

"This is probably one of the most important spots in this house, trust me." he says smiling "Plus if I didn't show you I'm pretty sure you would've never found it,"

"Most important spot huh?" I say smiling. "I've got to admit, if you asked me to lead us back to the den I probably wouldn't be able to."

"Thank god you have me then huh?" he winks and smiles at me and I smile back.

Yeah lucky me. Hmm he's cute, maybe...

10 minutes later we're standing in front of my new room and I'm still reeling from my mini tour.

"I can't believe you guys have an indoor and outdoor pool, I'm guessing money isn't a problem here?" I ask spreading my hand out wide. "And how many people live here exactly?"

"Money's a problem for everyone but we have a great accountant so we live pretty well. And counting you, there are 9 members of the pack living in the house."

"9? In my old pack, we didn't live with our pack, we lived with our families. Are there any other girls in the pack?" I ask curiously.

"Actually you're the first girl in our pack." He says and I stare at him wide eyed.

"Seriously? So you're telling me I'm living in a house full of guys? Somebody save me now." I say sarcastically shaking my head.

"Well technically some of the maids in the house are girls" he says smirking, "I'm sure they'd love to have a sleep over with you. You guys can paint each other's nails a talk about how cute I am."

"Real funny John, are you always this funny or is today just my lucky day?" I say rolling my eyes playfully.

"Only for you Jade" he says winking and starts laughing once I pretend to gag. "Anyway, dinners in an hour so I'll let you go freshen up. Your entire luggage came this morning and you have a shower connected to your room."

"Ok, thanks. So I guess I'll see you at the dinner table?" I ask turning the door knob until the door opens.

"Yep and don't be late. Daniel hates it when were late" he says.

"Ooh alpha male's a bit demanding isn't he?" I say jokingly.

"That's putting it lightly" he replies laughing softly. "He's has a lot on his plate, so yes, he's takes everything very seriously. And when he gives a command he doesn't like to be questioned. He's a great guy though, if you can get passed his snarky attitude."

"Sounds like he's the life of the party" I say sarcastically and John starts laughing.

"You just say whatever's on your mind don't you?" he smiles, "You better be careful what you say around Daniel, he doesn't like smart mouths."

"Yeah, yeah" I say waving him away. "Don't worry, I'll be a perfectly civilized when I meet him. No sarcastic comments will come out of my mouth, scouts honor."

"For some reason I don't believe you," He says, a smile forming on his lips. "I guess we'll just have to see won't we?"

I nod and smile and soon I'm in behind closed door to my "new room". Its huge (no surprise considering the size of the house) and I quickly throw myself onto the queen sized bed. My luggages are all sitting nicely on the side of the bed and I feel thoughts drift to my old pack. They were my family and they just let me go...just like that.

Stop thinking about it. It's in the past, there's nothing you can do now to change it. You broke the rules and now you have to suffer the consequences.

I sigh and push myself up off the bed. One glance at the clock and I quickly start rummaging through my luggage. I have 30 minutes to get ready and I haven't even taken a shower yet.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck" I mutter throwing clothes around. "What am I going to wear?"

After finally grabbing some clothes I run into the bathroom. Dinner with my new pack...this should be fun.

Authors Note: So like I said in the introduction, this is my first time writing a werewolf love story so please don't go crazy on me if things don't make sense at first. Everything will come together throughout the chapters. I know you guys probably want to meet Daniel but don't worry I promise he'll be in the next one ;) Please comment/vote if you guys like it.
