All I Want Is You

Chapter 2

Of course because John told me specifically not to be late, I'm late. But in my defense, I was out of my room with 5 minutes to spare but I couldn't find the damn dining room. I've search all the floors but I can't remember where it is. Finally after what feels like forever I find the dining room; it was on the main floor down the only hallway I didn't try.

The dining room is basically this big ass table with a fancy ass chandelier on the celling. As soon as I walk into the room everybody at the table gets quiet and stares at me. More like gawking really, I get I was late but what the hell?

"Hi, I'm Jade. I'm a new member to your pack." I say boldly. I look around the room until I find John and he smiles at me and stands up.

"Come on guys stop staring and let's introduce ourselves to our newest member." John says smiling as he takes a quick glance at the guy at the head of the table, silently asking for permission. I'm guessing its Daniel and I'm about to turn my head to see him when I hear someone talking close by me so I turn back around.

"This is Dave, Ben, Will, Sam, Oliver, Eddie, and our alpha Daniel." As John says each of their names they each smile warmly and give either a little wave or nod. And I have to admit: every single one of them is freaking HOT. But none of them compare to Daniel.

The moment I make eye contact with him I feel my heart beating like crazy and no matter how much I try to look away, I can't. He has wavy blond hair that hits just the tips of his shoulder, blue eyes and is easily one of the biggest guys I've ever seen. He looks like he uses cars as weights, with broad shoulders, and a tight tee showing off his very sexy muscles.

"You were supposed to be here 10 minutes ago, was that too hard of a request for you?" Daniel says sounding annoyed. His voice, oh my god, it's so deep and masculine it practically screams alpha.

"I got a little lost" I say shrugging, "In case you haven't noticed, this house isn't exactly small."

"Oh she got lost, silly me." he says sarcastically, "Just sit down so we get on with eating, I have things to do."

"What a dick." I mumble to John. I hear a few people trying to stifle laughter and Daniel glaring at me as I make my way to the empty seat next to John.

There's so much food on the table it looks like we're feeding a village but then again, I'm so hungry I could probably eat all of this by myself. After filling my plate up with food I start eating and trying to stop myself from staring at Daniel every 5 seconds.

"So Jade, how old are you?" Ben asks taking a big gulp from his drink.

"17, I turn 18 next month." I reply taking a bite out of the chicken wing in my hand.

"Oh so you're still in high school? We'll have to sign you up for the school in our neighborhood." Ben says.

"Are you guys not in high school?" I ask frowning slightly. They do look like they're too old to be in high school, but not by much. Most of them look 19 or 20.

"Most of us aren't. Only Sam and John are." Ben says.

"We actually already signed you up for school, so you'll be starting tomorrow."  Oliver says glancing at me.

"Yay." I say sarcastically and everyone starts laughing, except for Daniel.

"Jade, tell us something about yourself." John says smiling.

"My name is Jade, that's all you need to know." I say taking a sip of water.

"Oh come on, you have to tell us something." Dave says and the other guys starting nodding in encouragement.

I sigh and push my dish away, "Well what do you want to know?"

"What do you like to do in your spare time?" Dave asks.

"I don't know, I guess go clubbing. I used to be in dancing classes and gymnastics." I reply shrugging.

"Are you double jointed?" Will asks looking a little too interested.

"Want to find out?" I reply flirtatiously and I almost laugh when I see half the guys eyes widen. "Well dinner was great guys but I think it's time for me to go." I smile and wink at John before walking out of the dining room. I'm about to go up the stairs when I feel a warm hand on my arm, sending tingles all over my body.

"What do you think you're doing?" Daniel asks sounding pissed.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm going to my room." I say shaking his hand off of me.

"I'm talking about before in the dining room, you shouldn't lead them on like that."

"I'm not doing anything, and they knew I was just playing around." I say feeling annoyed. "It's not like I was throwing myself at them."

"You might as well have, with the way you kept flirting and smiling at all of them." he barked stepping closer to me.

"Oh hop off already, I've known you for like 5 minutes and you think you have the right to judge me?" I ask anger coursing through me. "And why does it matter? If I want to flirt then I can flirt."

"This is my pack and I will not have you going around acting like a little slut, do you understand me?" he shouts and before I think twice I smack him across the face, really hard.

"Don't you ever call me a slut! You don't know anything about me at all, how dare you judge me." I scream. I start shaking, and I feel my wolf trying to escape and I take a few deep breaths trying to keep everything under control.

Daniel's face softens and he places his hands on my shoulder and starts to massage gently. "I'm sorry, you're right I had no right to say that. Are you ok?"

"Whatever, it's not the first time I've been called that and I'm sure it won't be the last." I mumble taking his hand off my shoulder. Every time he touches me it makes me go crazy, and it scares me because I've never felt that before and I hardly even know him.

"Jade, I'm sure it's not true." He says trying to step closer to me but I put my hand up.

"It doesn't matter. Are we done now? I want to go to sleep." I say voice hard. He stares at me and once again I feel my heart beat speed up and I get that feeling like I'm falling into his eyes or something.  He nods slowly and before I do something stupid like kiss him I turn and walk quickly up the stairs.
