All I Want Is You

Chapter 6

A/N: So things are going to be getting very interesting! Thanks to everyone whose been reading this story, it really means a lot to me that you guys have been reading. “Alright is everyone here for the meeting?” Daniel asks looking around the room. When his eyes land on me I feel my heart speed up as I think about the kiss yesterday. I can’t stop thinking about it, no matter how much I try to forget it I can’t. And from the way Daniels eyes darken when he looks at me, I can tell he hasn’t forgotten the kiss either.

“I called this meeting because I got some news from the Dark night pack that’s ultimately going to change things around here.” He pauses for a moment and then continues, “They’re has been sightings of rogue werewolf in the area and they found three dead bodies in the woods a few days ago.”

Rogues. That one word sends a shiver of fear through me as I think of how cruel and just plain evil they are. They don’t agree with the way our law system is, they want it to be stricter and more vicious; I don’t know what they’re talking about considering our system is pretty fucking strict to me. Our laws make sense, and until now they’ve always worked perfectly fine. I’ve had plenty of experience with rogues; let’s just say it’s not something I plan on experiences anytime soon.

“This is not good, what are we going to do about this? Has the other packs been notified?”

I’m not even sure who said what, everyone was talking at the same time but I honestly felt the same way. I wanted to jump in but it seemed like every questioned I had was already shouted out.

“Enough!” Daniel shouts and everybody instantly goes silent. “Now I understand everyone’s concern and worries, trust me I’m just as worried by these attacks as you.”

“Alpha Daniel, what are we going to do about this?” Oliver asks frowning.

“I’ve talked to the other packs and we’ve agreed that it’s time we stepped our security up. We’re going to be training every day and everyone takes turns doing shifts for patrolling. Sam, John and Jade I’m sorry but you’re going to have to be home schooled from now on.” Daniel says glancing our way.

“No problem, sounds like the perfect plan to me.” John says grinning at Sam.

Yeah, I’ll admit I wasn’t happy about going to school and I’m happy I can give it up after only going for a week but I can’t help but think about Jane. Who’s going to look out for her and make sure no one bullies her if I’m not around?

“For how long are we doing this?” I ask and quickly add “Alpha Daniel.”

“For however long it takes to get rid of the rogues.” He answers simply. 

That means forever, I guess I’ll have to forget about being friends with Jane

I don’t know why but this makes me really sad. It’s not like we became best friends in a week or anything and if I’m honest I don’t even know if has anything to do with Jane exactly. Well it does but it has a lot to do with the fact that I miss having a girlfriend. Someone to talk to about my day; talk about our worries, fears, hopes… crushes. Then again, I’d never be able to truly be honest with Jane since she’s not a werewolf and can never know about any of this. To get to the point: I miss my old friends. I know it wasn’t there choice to let me leave the pack but it still hurts to know that everyone’s moved on, and it seems almost like I was never in their life. But you know how it is: what the Alpha says goes.
