Chapter 7: The Battle

Scarlett's POV:

He reloaded his 45 pistol as quick as possible while I, got my ammo and reloaded mine as well.

I was really nervous to be honest, I mean for fighting a man with such anger and potential. I'm 100% sure he had a lot more experience with training than I ever had... 'Except for martial arts.'

My eyes still had the shades of crimson red because I did not understand why he just wouldn't let me stay. I looked up at him while he stared down at me waiting for me to get up from the ground; I was tying my combat shoes. As soon as I was finally done, he reached out his hand signaling that he would help me up.

"I'm fine!" I yelled.

"Are you ready?" He spoke impatiently.

I nodded & quickly got off the ground while waiting for his orders of fighting.

"If you win, you stay and if you lose, well than you gotta leave." He smirked.

"Deal." I shook his hand warmly.

I felt my stomach twist in a knot, I've never trained a day in my life, with weaponry. "May the best man win." He said. 'MAN?!' I thought while he made a confused face at me.

He started getting ready with his pistol and other fighting hand while I posed the same, after a few seconds he began to sing.

"They form a line

One at a time

ready to play

"(I can't see them anyway.)"

I sang along with him knowing the song as well, to be honest he had a good voice. I quickly ran into the barn as he began firing at me.

"No time to lose

We've got to move

Steady the helm

(I am losing sight again.)"

I looked around for any hiding places but only hid behind a couple of boxes stacked upon each other. My ear twitched from the sound of his footsteps approaching from where I stood.

"Fire your guns

It's time to run

Blow me away

(I will stay in the mess I made)

After the fall we'll shake it off

Show me the way!"

I quickly ran up the stairs that were hidden behind another set of boxes. He fired quickly but missed again as I fired back at him. He ran the other way to go on the other set of stairs to the second floor.

"Only the strongest will survive

Lead me to heaven when we die

I am the Shadow on the wall

(I'll be the one to save us all)"

We looked at each other from up above as I started to sing my verse to the song. He started pacing towards me. While he unexpectedly heard my voice and stopped running to me.

"There's nothing left

So Save your breath

Lying in wait

(Caught in this tidal wave)

Your covers blown

No where to go

Holding you fate

(Loaded I will walk alone)"

I jumped from up top and quickly ran out of the barn, into another one of his barns. It was the smallest barn with the color of rusted red. He was more irritated on finding out who I am.

"Fire your guns

It's time to run

Blow me away

(I will stay in the mess I made)

After the fall

We'll shake it off

Show me the way."

He began to sing as he made it out of the barn as well. He looked to the small barn from where I was hidden while I looked out through a little hole that had been carved out.

"Only the strongest will survive

Lead me to heaven when we die

I am the Shadow on the wall

I'll be the one to save us all)"

He quickly started sprinting towards where I was hidden. 'Lets throw in a surprise attack bitch.' I stuck out my hand in a fist formation and punched him on the face while he ran inside the barn. He didn't seem as much hurt as I expected, but only held his nose tight. He began to sing.

"Wanted it back

(Don't fight me now)"

He tried punching me back but missed while I blocked him with my hand. He tried again but I flenched, I quickly tripped him down with my leg while he laid flat on the floor. I began to sing my verse at his face.

"Don't make me fight....!"

We both sang at the same time as he stood up. Suddenly we both heard screeches and yells.

"Blow me away....!"

We ran out the barn while meeting a dozen zombies, they were waiting for us?! Back to back, we shot each one, while spinning in a slow circle.

"Only the strongest will survive

Lead me to heaven when we die

I am the Shadow on the wall

I'll be the one to save us ALL....!"

As we finished shooting the zombies there was one last one, coming our way, sprinting!

("SAVE US ALL....!")

I quickly shot it, headshot. "FUCK YEAH!" I yelled with excitement. I was than pushed down by Shadow. My eyes still glowed red in anger and a bit of confusion.

"Who are you?! TELL ME NOW!" His eyes began to turn even more red than usual as he was about to give off what it is, a chaos spear?

"Wait! Wait! My name is Scarlett Jane Rose!" I flenched while I waited for a hit.

2 seconds past by and I felt nothing. I opened my eyes while he quickly took off my helmet.

"Scarlett?!" He yelled with tears forming in his eyes.

I was confused, and a little bit frightened but all I ever thought was if Shadow, who I currently met, knows who I am...

Hello Lovlies!!!

Wow what a chapter right? ;) shocking isn't it :o but anyways I'm not all that good on writing battle scenes but I wanted to make this one short. I hope you all are still reading!!!

Anyways I forgot to mention this is kinda a musical story..... Hardly.... /.\
