Kanzaki was sitting with Nakamura, Megu, Kayano and Hayami in the classroom of 3E. They were all eating lunch and chatting about... pretty much everything.

"Hey, remember this?" Nakamura laughed, showing a picture to Kayano, who promptly went bright red. She showed the picture to Megu and Hayami, and finally, to Kanzaki.

It was the photo of Nagisa and Kayano kissing when Kayano had tentacles. Kanzaki smiled.

Sugino was off his game. He was practicing his throwing technique, aiming at innocent trees, but his mind was on Kanzaki. Valentine's day was coming up soon. He needed to get her something, right?

It was no secret that Sugino liked Kanzaki. The only person that didn't know was probably Kanzaki herself.

"Focus!" Karma yelled at Sugino. He jumped out of his trance, throwing to Karma. It was better than a tree, at least.

Karma threw the ball back. "Harder, dude." He threw it again. Faster, faster, faster.

Karma threw it back again. "This one is the one that counts." He yelled, backing up. Sugino took in a breath, centering his concentration.

He threw the ball, and it missed Karma, because he stepped out of the way. Instead, it sailed through the window of class 3E, and everyone heard several girls scream and one shout, "Sugino I know it was you!"

Korosensei came back from Italy with a steaming hot, fresh pizza. "Oh, my, what's happened?" He asked nobody in particular. Karma pointed at Sugino. So did Nagisa, and Nakamura, and Hayami... basically everyone that was there pointed at him.

"Yeah, so I may have accidentally thrown a baseball too hard and it crashed through the window." Sugino heard a faint giggle and turned around to see Kanzaki smiling at him. God, she was so darn cute.

"Well, that's no problem." Korosensei exclaimed, moving at mach 20 to clear it up and replace the window. It took him a second and a half.

"Did I hit anyone?" Sugino asked. The girls all shook their heads.

"Well, you should all get inside, because your lessons are about to start with Irina."

"I didn't know we had Professor Bitch next?"

"Yeah, we're doing some French lesson, apparently." Everyone chattered as they walked in, ready for their next lesson.

-Time skip-

Today was valentine's day. Like, the one and only, valentine's day. And let's just let everyone know, Nakamura and Karma were literally being devil cupids, trying to get as many couples together as possible.

Kanzaki walked into the classroom with a small box of chocolates in her hand. The class was almost full when she arrived.

Sugino was almost right behind her, smiling. They both sat down as Korosensei walked into the room.

"Today is valentine's day! And since I'm so darn nice, I'll let you have the day off." Everyone whooped and cheered. A day off sounded perfect right about now.

"S-sugino?" Kanzaki called as everyone was leaving the classroom. "Ca I talk to you?"

"Sure, let's talk outside, though." They walked outside. Kanzaki was smiling shyly, whilst Sugino was throwing a baseball. Up, down. Up, down.

"These are for you!" Kanzaki blurted, holding out her chocolates in front of her and waiting for him to refuse them.

She heard a bang and looked up. Sugino had... thrown his baseball at a street lamp and was now continuing to bash his head against it.

Kanzaki giggled again, which caused Sugino to turn and face her. "Thank you, Kanzaki. I love them."

Kanzaki smiled. "You haven't even tried them yet, but thanks."

Sugino opened the lid and popped a chocolate in his mouth. "Yum. Love them." He grinned.

She laughed, and he found himself laughing too.

"Do you want to walk home together?"  He asked on a whim.

"Sure."

They bgan their long trek down the mountain. Neither of them had anything to say, so they were stuck in this sort of awkward silence.

"So... do you have any plans later?" Sugino asked.

Kanzaki shook her head. "My parents are going out for valentines day, and I have to babysit my little sister."

Sugino went bright red. "W-well... do you want me too come over and help?"

Her face lit up with hope "Would you?" She asked excitedly. "Sure. "Sugino grinned.

They arrived at Kanzaki's house. "So, my parents leave at six, so any time after that, really." A small blush tinged her cheeks.

Sugino nodded. "I'll be there."

Sugino arrived at half past six. Kanzaki's sister was playing by herself in her room, so it was just Sugino and Kanzaki in Kanzaki's room.

Sugino looked around. The room was decorated with photos of all of her friends. There was even a photo of him on her walls.

He stopped at her desk, picking up a baseball that lay there. "I didn't know you were into baseball."

"Actually, that's the ball that you threw through the window yesterday." Sugino blushed.

"Y-you kept that?" She nodded, smiling. "I thught it may be important." She said.

"Kanzaki, I-I..." Sugino took steps towards her until she was pinned against the wall by him. "I... kindofsortoflikeyou."

She grinned. "I kind of sort of like you, too."

And Sugino leant in, and their lips were touching, and it was perfect.

The next day at school, they walked in hand-in-hand. Maehara winked at him, whilst Nakamura walked up to them.

"So do we have a new couple in town?"

Sugino looked at Kanzaki, then back at Nakamura. "Yeah."

They kissed again, and Nakamura took a photo on her phoe and forwarded it to a yellow octopus that waspicking up breakfast in Dubai.

'SQUEEEE!!!' He sent back. 'Finally!'
