Karasuma's POV
I turned the gun around and hit his temple with the back of the gun. He slumped to the floor.
Now we needed to find Irina. "Gove me the antidote, then try and find your classmates." Everyone nodded, as we parted ways.
I searched the top floor, opening doors and running through rooms. There was no sign of her.
I could hear the class chattering, my only lead. He said they were watching her, right?
I opened the final door. I saw korosensei in a cage with his half of the students. "Karasuma?" Korosensei spotted me.
It was then I noticed Irina's limp body on the floor, unmoving, apart from her shallow breaths. She looked so vulnerable, and there were bruises all over her body.
There was a needle lying next to her sleeping form. I used it to put the antidote into her body. She stirred, but didn't wake up.
I left her for a moment, unlocking the cage in which the class was being kept. My other half of the class burst in through the same door I had come in through, panting and out of breath.
I untied Irina's wrists and legs, frowning at the red burn marks they had caused. I picked her up princess style, and the class followed me out.
We rushed to a hospital, and they took Irina in for surveillance. Two days. They kept her for two god damn days.
And then she came to us, in the middle of a class, all bandaged up with her leg in a cast. And she smiled, like nothing had happened.
All the kids enveloped her in hugs, as did korosensei. I just... stood there, waiting for them all to finish.
"Hey." She used her crutches to walk over to me.
"Hey, Irina." I said, avoiding her eyes.
But I couldn't take it. I ran toher, hugging her tight. She let go of one of her crutches to comfort me, rubbing her hand in circles over my back, soothing me.
Irina was back, and she was safe. That was all that mattered.
Irina's POV
They told me I had a fractured ankle and three concussions, as well as scratches and bruises all over. Oh well. I've been through worse.
I walked up the stairs to the mountain. I was supposed to arrive at the top by the time my lesson started, but getting up that many stairs with crutches is hard.
So, I ended up arriving an hour and a half later that I wanted too, and they were all being taught inside by korosensei.
I walked through the courtyard, smiling. Kanzaki noticed me first, and she jumped out of her seat and ran outside to hug me. Nakamura joined her, and Nagisa, and Isogai, and Karma... the entire class was out here, and they were all hugging me. Eve korosensei.
I hobbled over to Karasuma. "Hey." I said, finally noticing how interesting his shoe designs were.
"Hey, Irina." He said stiffly. I knew it. He didn't miss me at all-
He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug. My muscles screamed in protest, but I rubbed circles over his back, trying to comfort him. I was here, and I was fine.
"Don't ever do that again, you hear me?" He whispered into my neck. I shivered.
"I won't, I promise." I said. He pulled back, smiling.
"Good." And then he smashed his mouth to mine, and we were kissing, and I lost thoughts of everything to just focus on him.
He pulled back after what felt like hours but was probably seconds and I smiled. He cared.
Cheers errupted from behind us. I turned to see all the 3E students whooping and cheering. I laughed, whilst Karasuma smiled, straight at me.
"I love you, Irina." He said.
"I love you too." And our lips met again, drowning out the noise of the students.
