"Are you sure you should be out in public like this?" Dan asked for the third time.
"Yes," you replied and rolled your eyes. "I don't trust you two to understand my aesthetic yet."
Dan feigned a gasp and placed his hand over his heart. "Excuse me? My aesthetic game is on point."
"There, there children," Phil interjected. He placed a baseball cap on your head. "This is the compromise. I'd also make you wear sunglasses but it would make you stand out to wear them inside."
You pulled off the cap and looked at it. It was jet black and its front contained a single small picture of a shiba. You shrugged and put it back on.
"Shibe," Dan called out and flicked the picture. The picture's location on the cap was dead center on your forehead.
"Ow," you whined and held your forehead in response. "Can you not?"
Phil cleared his throat and began to usher you two out of the flat. "I feel like I'm going to be babysitting you two for the rest of the day."
Dan hummed in agreement. "Yes, a six foot four baby accompanied by a (your height) baby. Like the one from Spirited Away." He emphasized his steps as stomps down the staircase.
You rolled your eyes and followed him down the steps. "At least I'd be the cuter baby."
Phil cried out from a few steps behind you. "Does that mean I'm the mean witch lady?"

"We always visit a Starbucks on our adventure out," Dan announced to you before pushing you into the crowded cafe.
"It's a tradition since we rarely leave the house." Phil added on and nodded. He took a look around the cafe. "I'll go snag a table. And remember to order my usual, Dan." He walked off with his quest.
You looked at Dan. "What does Phil usually get?"
"Hot chocolate with some peppermint," Dan replied without missing a beat. He watched as the line shifted and moved accordingly. "Do you want the same thing? Assuming your similar taste in food also applies for coffee."
You nodded. Before you began to speak again you noticed two girls slightly hidden from sight behind Dan's arm. They stood at the tables lined along the wall and had their phones out. It appeared as if their phones were aimed at you two. You looked back at Dan who didn't yet notice the girls. You hesitated. "Uh, don't turn around but I think those girls over there are taking pictures of us?"
Dan moved his gaze to the menu and shifted. He now completely stood between you and the girls; your form was hidden from their view. "Hopefully I'm not flashing Twitter right now." He mumbled.
Before you could comment the cashier called out for the next customer and Dan gently prodded you forward. He matched his pace with yours until you two reached the register. He placed your orders and took out a card before you had a chance to protest. Again, he prodded you upstairs once the transaction was complete. You followed his guidance and didn't turn around once.
"Should I go get the drinks then?" Phil asked when you two sat down. A nod from Dan sent him off.
"Thanks for that," you responded to Dan when Phil was far enough. "Does that usually happen when you two go out? Is that why you don't leave the house?"
Dan chuckled at the joke. "Nice guess, but no. The first time that has happened actually. Normally people approach us kindly."
"What if the Internet starts shipping us together?" You teased. A smile danced on your lips.
He kept his eyes leveled with yours and smirked. "I don't think I'd mind too much." He shifted his gaze to Phil who teetered up the staircase behind you with full hands. "Phil might have a different opinion on that though."
