Angels and Demons are two different things. They can either do good things or terrible things. They can either bring peace or death. They both have extraordinary powers that no one seems to realize that they aren't really there.
People believe that there is no such thing as angels or demons. Some say it is a myth inside of a book or legends in stories, but in reality, they are like spiritual beings in another dimension. This is the story of which that someone turns the tides of fate.
A mystical evil being that has the power to make portals has somehow intertwined both heaven and hell together to make a devastating new world. Angels and demons don't work together, but that might change for better or the worst.
This story will take place between Bayonetta 1, 2, and Devil May Cry 4, so in case people ask where it's going to take place, it'll be in that range. Be mindful, that I am not skilled in knowledge about the world and lore of Devil May Cry since I have played the first Bayonetta game and the Xbox 360 demo of DMC 4. So, I apologize if the lore isn't exact. Please don't be harsh, I am trying to be a good writer, okay? So, I'm just thinking outside the box and it's in my imagination.
