BAYONETTA/DEVIL MAY CRY Crossover 1 (Revised/Rewritten)

Chapter 14: Church Rumble

     The crew entered the church and saw stained glass with heaven and hell engraved. Nero liked the interior design, but focused on the task at hand. "Nice place, but where's the portal?" Jeanne noticed the shimmer of the portal. "I see it over there." She points to it behind a gate. Dante noticed that it was blocked. "Looks like it's blocked." Bayonetta knew it was obvious. "Honestly, it's not that simple. Just press a button and it opens automatically? I fear that a trap is brewing."

    Trish thought it was going to be a smooth mission. "Are you sure about that, Bayonetta? I mean, what if it's that easy?" Dante tilted his head at her as he didn't believe her. "If you're that eager, then go over there and press the button." Trish spoke to him as she was confident. "Fine. I will."

     Nero volunteered to join her to see if it would work. "I'm coming, too." Nero followed Trish to push the button, until a light started to shine on them and demons and angels have appeared. Trish and Nero backed up before they got crushed.

    Trish was a bit disappointed in herself. "Oh, crap." Nero groaned as he exhaled sharply. "Damn it!" Dante and Bayonetta spoke in unison as they knew it was going to happen. "Like we said before...a trap." Nero admitted that what they did was wrong. "And you guys were right." Jeanne looked at the angels and demons with determination. "Guys, get ready. Here they come." They all got prepare to fight and they attacked all the angels and demons in one go non-stop.

   Trish was confident in herself. "I think we got them all." Nero shook his head, feeling that it wasn't over. "Don't be too sure." He points at both mini bosses appeared out of nowhere and landed in front of them. There was a demon called Echidna the She-Viper and another demon called Alraune.

    Echidna stretched as she exhaled deeply. "Ooh, it's great to be alive again." Trish spoke to her sarcastically. "Yeah, I'll say." Echidna was upset. "Silence, b****!" Bayonetta looked over to Dante. "Classy. Do you know her?" Dante winced at that as he shrugged his shoulders. "Actually, we never really started dating." Bayonetta raised her eyebrows as she smirked. "Not her type?" Dante nodded his head with a smile. "Yeah."

   
     Alraune grinned at Echidna while she spoke to her. "It's about time, we started working together." Echidna agreed with her. "I know right. Now, who should you take control of, Alraune?" Alraune thinks for a second as she looks around.  "Hmm. I would choose the Umbra Witches, but I'd rather choose the sassy one!" Alraune pointed to Trish while Dante and Nero came in front of her.

   

     Nero shouted at her while he frowned. "No way, you're not taking Trish!" Dante talked back to Alraune. "You'll deal with us first." Alraune grinned at them. "Glad to." She used her tentacles to swipe Dante and Nero to the side and Trish was trying to defend herself. Trish struggled as she grunted. "Get away! I'm not getting grabbed by an octopus!" She tried to use her lightning powers, but her arms got grabbed and she was being pulled in.

     Trish continued to struggle as she yelled. "Get off me! Ahh!" She got sucked in a bubble in Alraune's abdomen area. Nero gasped in shock seeing Trish. "Trish!" Dante groaned at that stunt. "Damn it, Trish! You should've fought back." Jeanne realized that this situation was getting bad. "Well, this is bad." Bayonetta agreed with Jeanne, but she didn't give up hope. "You're right, Jeanne, but we have to fight them both."

    Jeanne nodded her head with determination. "Alright. I'm with you." Bayonetta spoke to them as she gave them simple instructions. "Dante, you and Nero get Trish back. We got She-Viper." Dante gave her a thumbs up. "Okay. Be careful." Bayonetta reassured him as she smiled. "Don't worry. I'll be fine. Let's go, Jeanne." Jeanne nodded as she looked at Bayonetta. "Right." They ran towards Echidna.

    Echidna smirked at the women. "Ah. The two witches. Ready to have some fun?" Bayonetta grinned at her. "Yes. We are." Echidna starts to attack, but Jeanne used her pistols to shoot her tail. Bayonetta used her Shuraba sword to slice through bits and pieces of flesh. Dante and Nero were fighting Alraune. Alraune smiled at them as she flirted with them. "You boys are cute. How about instead of fighting, we go out to dinner instead?"

    Nero raised his left eyebrow at her. "And let you eat us for dinner?" Dante scoffed at Alraune. "Sorry, doll, but we're not on the menu." Dante shot Alraune on the face plate and Nero kicked her down. Nero was upset with Alraune. "Release Trish, god damn it!" Alraune shook her head in denial. "Never!" She uses lightning to strike Nero and Dante, but they dodged her attacks.

    

      Alraune was surprised to see the powers. "Ooh, nice power she got indeed. I think I'll keep her!" Nero panted heavily as she looked at Dante. "She's too tough, what do we do?" Dante came up with an idea. "Armor piercing rounds." He held up a bullet. Nero understood as he nodded his head. "Oh. I get it now. Let's shoot!" Dante and Nero loaded their guns so fast and shot her very quickly that her powers were weakening.

     Alraune was getting upset as she hissed at them with fury. "How dare you!" Nero nodded to Dante as he was ready. "Dante, do it!" Alraune was confused as she didn't know what was going to happen."Wha?" Dante was lifted in the air by Nero's push so high that he had time to take out his sword Rebellion. Dante smirked at her. "Sorry, babe, but you're not attractive at all." He sliced her body in half and hits bubble. Trish fell out with juices all over her and Nero caught her.

     Nero shivered as he almost gagged a bit. "Gross." Dante smiled at Nero. Back to Bayonetta and Jeanne kicking Echidna's butt. Echidna tilted her head as she looked at them. "You think you're better than me?" Bayonetta grinned as she was serious. "That's right. Tell us where Narthex is and we'll spare you. Maybe." Echidna scoffed at her. "I won't tell you. Die in agony!"

    Her tentacle stopped right at Bayonetta's face. Jeanne was concerned. "Bayonetta!" Bayonetta was smirking. "I'm alright." She chopped it off. "Have it your way." She force pushed her sword into Echidna's real body. Bayonetta did her Climax again. Bayonetta summoned the spell. "AFAA TADAAG NEPTA!" She summoned Hekatoncheir hands and all of the hands punched Echidna a thousand times everywhere and she splattered seeds. Bayonetta panted a bit as she exhaled. "Good riddance."

     Jeanne panted as she was a bit stressed. "We have to check on Trish." They run to her and Dante and Nero look to see if she's wounded. Nero was concerned about Trish. "Are you alright, Trish?" Trish nodded her head as she was exhausted and confused. "Yeah, I'll live. What the hell do I have on me?" Dante was a bit disgusted seeing the residue. "That's slime and blood." Trish shivered as she was grossed out. "Ew. I need a hot bath." Jeanne felt bad, but she felt like they have to keep going. "That can wait."

     Bayonetta had to agree since they still have to go after Narthex. "Jeanne's right. We can't waste anymore time. We have to keep moving to find Narthex." Nero pointed to the portal. "Do you think that portal is it?" Dante shook his head, not agreeing on that. "Nope. I have a feeling it's just going to be another location and we have to fight the bad guys again." Trish nodded her head.  "True, but that's the risk we need to take in order to get things straight."

    Bayonetta sharply exhaled while gathering herself together. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Nero pressed the button to open the gate. Dante was determined as he looked towards the portal, being ready for anything. "No turning back now." Jeanne nodded her head and yelled to the group. "Go!" They all ran into the portal once more and it closed behind them.
