Karma was hungry. And he did not mean 'I could go for a sandwich right now' hungry, he meant hungry enough to eat a person. He hadn't eaten in over 4 days, while watching the others eat watery oatmeal, and Kanzaki would be force-fed a cooked meal. He himself only got the occasional glass of water.

He could only move his head from side to side. This meant he spent most of his time looking at Nagisa while Nagisa talked to him.

Hiromi made her usual entry, and pulled a knife from the rack on the wall.

"Today we start having some fun"

She took off Karma's gag and proceeded to cut through his skin, ignoring his screams.

'STOP IT! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HIM!' Cried Nagisa.

'I think that what I do with the person who tried to take my son from me is up to me'

She was referring to when she caught Karma and Nagisa kissing at his house.

She walked over to Sugino, leaving Karma sobbing on the floor.

She placed her knife on his arm, making perfectly straight, evenly spaced lines with her right hand, while holding Sugino still with her left.

Kanzaki was trying to stop her, but she wouldn't listen until she had reached Suginos wrist.

'hush now, Kanni, I'll keep him alive just for you'

She went over to Nagisa, and proceeded to strangle him

'Stop, please, leave him alone!' Karma pleaded.

'shut up, you stupid child!'

She waited until he had almost gone limp to release him, then cut open a small hole in his arm, placed a tube in it and began to drain his blood, filling a glass. She took out the tube and went over to Karma.

She put her hand under his head and lifted it up, then put the glass to his lips. Making a struggling boy drink is hard enough, but when they are lying down it's even harder yet she still managed to get him to drink it all.
