Nagisa is set up in the centre of the room. She's stood still. I pick up Isogai. He struggles as I stand him in front of Nagisa, tying him to a rack in a starfish position with the rope still stained red from Karma's games.
"Make mommy proud, Angel. Burn him."

I pull him up, laying him on chair. I put a candle under a piece of string. I tie a heavy weight onto the string, so if the string breaks it will crush his head.
"If you don't, he'll be crushed!"
I walk over, standing so close I can see the hairs on her neck stand up.
"Think how easy it will be. Just take a few steps and lift the lighter!"
I give her a small push of encouragement.
She takes one step before stopping again. The toy has woken up at this point, and is trying to guess what's happening.
I step back to Karma. I look down.
He blinks.
His wound had healed.
He's alive.
Of course he's alive! You don't kill people! He was watching the whole time!
Well, it gives me some leverage.
"Look here, Angel! You don't want him to die, do you?"
