Black Eyes {Complete}

The light was bright. I had fallen asleep hugging Isogai. My nightmare was basically my memory until the bit with the man. Still, it made me scared and I snuggled further into his arms.

I looked over at the chair. Bitch-sensei was sat there staring at us. I untangled myself and she seemed to jump.

B-sensei:'How long have you been awake?'

Maehara:'Long enough.'

Yuma was stirring, and I sat up.

Isogai:'nnrgh'

Maehara:'Morning.'

Isogai:'Mwrnng'

Maehara:'Back at you. '

He looked up at Bitch-sensei and I could see the confusion.

Maehara:'How long have you been there?'

B-sensei:'Erm.. 2 hours?'

Isogai:' doing what?'

Maehara:'Watching us sleep? '

B-sensei:'Maybe.'

I wish I could put them back with their rooms. We had to leave Sugino behind. He hadn't decomposed yet, but it had only been 24 hours. It was also cold in the rooms. I say rooms, they were more areas sectioned off by vertical bars.

Now I had to put them in cages. They're dolls, not dogs! I put the boy on top of the girls, my van only fits 2 across. Now he can't look up their skirts! Time for dinner. 3 burgers. It was all I could find.

They ate slow, not dropping a single crumb into their blankets.

I took their bottles, and filled them with fresh water. I couldn't have them dehydrating.

They were stuck crouching, their fingers laced through the wire. The girls had plastic flooring, the boy only had a blanket. He was stroking Nagisas hand.

I pushed the cage he was in, and he let go.

Hiromi:'Be careful, or you'll become the roadkill.'

I put in the 3 plus sized bottles of acid.

I shut the trunk. No windows. I climbed in the front seat. I looked in the reflection of the mirror. I was wearing contacts to hide my black eyes and had dyed my hair purple.

We'd been driving for god knows how long. It was hot, and I was almost out of water. Being tall in these cages was a definite disadvantage. Nagisa wasn't doing to bad. He could almost kneel.

Kanzaki:'How long do you reckon we'll be driving for?'

Nagisa:'We'll probably stop soon. she'll be hungry by now.'

The car chose this exact time to come to a sudden halt, throwing them against the side of their cages.

Isogai
?*?*?*?

Isogai:'Why are you here watching us sleep? '

B-sensei:'We've spotted a van. We think it contains Kanzaki, Nagisa and Karma. We're in the process of disabling the vehicle and extracting them. '

I felt so happy. Only one thing.

Isogai:'Can I... can I see Sugino?

Maehara:'Are you sure?'

Isogai:'I watched him die. I just need to.. To see him.'

We made the long trip to the mortuary. They opened one of the small doors. Inside lay Sugino. I took in a deep breath and pulled out the tray and took off his sheet to reveal his face. He hadn't decomposed at all. I opened one of his eyes, and it wasn't milky like I expected. I checked his wrist. There was the faintest pulse.

Isogai:'He's alive! '
