I opened my eyes the next morning to be staring face to face with Cole as his fingers griped my shoulders and my body shook tremendously. Once he realized I was awake, he let go of me as I plopped back down on the mattress. If this was his way of waking me up he was so going pay.

"Oh good you're awake," he laughed down at me probably taking in my reaction. I know for a fact my face showed my unpleasant emotion and most likely the bags under my eyes.

"What time is it?" I moaned gripping the blankets in attempt to wrap them around me however Cole was sitting on them keeping them from me.

"7 o'clock. You got a half hour to get ready. Also I figured you'd never been to church before so I took the liberty in getting one if my sister's dresses for you to borrow," he motioned to the blue denim dress laying on the chair at the desk.

"Where did you get that?" I asked arching my eyebrows. He just asked me last night to come with him and he already had dress for me to wear. Like that wasn't weird.

"My sister left some clothes here once. It was a while ago so I doubt she'll even notice its hers," he confirmed.

I nodded and began to get out of bed even though I was extremely tired. Cole shifted to allow myself out of the covers.

I held up the dress to me. It was just a casual denim dress and it was pretty plain which I liked. It surprisingly actually looked like something I might buy.

"Alright I'll let you get ready," Cole said getting up from the bed and leaving the room while closing the door behind him. It was then that I noticed he was already dressed. He wore tan kaki pants with a stripped button down half tucked in with a belt. He even sported his own pair of grey vans that matched nicely with the light purple on his shirt.

Sighing I quickly changed into the dress rolling up the sleeves and slipped on my vans. Yeah I know it wasn't very classy but hey I'm not miss prim and proper. I let my hair down naturally as the blonde waves cascaded down my back. All in all I guess I didn't look too bad.

I grabbed my phone and some cash just in case as I left the room. I found Cole sitting on the couch phone hand with the news playing unwatched on the TV.

"Ready," I announced walking over towards him.

He shifted his gaze from his phone and onto me as his face contorted from boredom to amused. A playful smirk grew on his face and I couldn't tell if he was making fun of me or not.

"Never thought I'd see you in a dress," he said as his smirk grew bigger.

"Oh please," I rolled my eyes at his comment, "let's go." I looked down at my phone that read 7:30.

Cole grabbed his keys and we left to go to the church. All throughout the car ride I kept bugging Cole with non-stop questions about it. I never really been to church. None of my foster parents took me and I wasn't brought up religious or anything. I just wanted to know a little about what it was like and what to expect. Cole didn't seem to mind as he tried his best to answer all of my questions.

From what I got out of it his family weren't complete religious freaks but they went every Sunday.

Upon arriving at the church I watched all the people dressed nicely walking to the main doors. Why was I here? I didn't fit in at all. But when I turned back to look at Cole I couldn't help but know he'd make me feel welcomed.
