Chapter 4

The weekend came pretty quickly,not that I wasn't happy,I was bloody ecstatic. Laura rarely came back unless she finishes the world tour or something else and today was one of those "something else" days so I spend the weekend surfing with her. And my family spent the day at the beach as well so its was pretty fun. Family shenanigans. We barely had things like this before so it was nice to actually be together as a family again. My parents weren't fighting anymore and usually,it was about money but things looked like they were looking up and i couldnt feel happier. Running around like kids and teaching the other 2 how to surf but Sarah kind of just gave up pretty quick because she's afraid of the water so it was just to teach Sean. I ended up being in fits of laughter instead of helping Laura teach him. After all that hoo ha,we just watched the sunset and surfed a couple of more times before heading back. Well actually they headed back first,I stayed at the beach a little longer.

"hey you." he said poking.

"hey you." i poked him back smiling.

"how was your day?" he said leaning back,his hands supporting him.

"i have to say,its been great." i then got into the same position as him.

"how great?"

"pretty great."

"pretty." he nodded.

"how was yours?"

"you know me."

"actually,not really you know." i said facing him,my elbow supporting me.

"im happy when i get to see you. thats all."

"cute." I then took out a cigarette and put it in my mouth. I offered him one. "cigarette?"

"i dont smoke remember?"

I just shrugged. I lighted it up and drew in one.

"so then,what brings you here?" I asked going back to the previous position.

"nothing. im just avoiding things."

"like?" he just shrugged. "its okay if you dont want to talk about it."

"there's nothing to talk about really. I just have no where to go."

"oh." I looked at him who was looking right at me.

"you're the only person i really have."

"woah there,don't make me go all emotional!" He just shrugged. "but hey,im always here for you,you know." i nudged him lightly.

"same goes for you." he nudged back.

I finished the ciggarette and then put it out.

"you wanna go?" I asked brushing the sand off my shorts and hands and then picked my bag up.

"I wanna go." So he stood up and walked me home. He sent me just till the corner of my street.

"was nice seeing you." I smiled.

"always have been." he said back.

"well,goodnight. I'll see you around." I said walking away. "oh,and thanks for walking me home." I said.

"wait." He said holding my arm. I widened my eyes and turned to him.

"what?" He then kissed me on my cheek. I smiled.

"goodnight." he smiled as he let go of my hand.

I barely even know his name and he's already flirting with me. nice.
