Chapter 14

We literally just sat in the living room like that for about an hour or so before deciding to go to the beach to catch some waves.

So we packed our stuff,piled the boards into the car and drove to the beach in 2 different cars. You can figure the rest out basically. Surf sessions and a lot of other shenanigans including burying Sarah in sand while she was getting her tan on. Which also resulted to an almost broken ankle. I think the beach is like our second home like literally. I recorded some stuff on my gopro so I'll have to edit that later when I get home.

After that,we all stayed at the beach until the sun set in the horizon. I then checked my phone to see a text from Ashton and like 2 missed calls from him.

I replied almost immediately.

do you still want me to go there bc i just saw this? sorry!!!

I then dried myself and waited for him to reply but instead he called back. 

"hiiiiiiii." i said kind of nervous. 

"hey." 

"so like what happens now?" 

"you know what,we get dinner then go home." Sean said. I turned to look at him. 

"wasn't talking to you asshat." i snickered at him. 

"you back yet?" he asked. 

"yeah just you know sibling things." i sighed. 

"so anyway,i was saying." 

"go on." 

"dinner?" 

"sounds alright." 

"okay where are you now?" 

"the usual." 

"okay uh so you come pick me up,i'll bring you to dinner." 

"okay." 

"okay?" 

"okay." 

"okay...." 

"okay so you come pick me up here and i'll drive the rest of the way." 

"okay." 

"okay?" 

"yeah okay." 

"we need to stop doing that." 

"do what?" 

"the okay thing!"

"just pick me up already." he sighed.

I laughed. "sorry okay i'll come and get you. dont go anywhere." i said grabbing my stuff. "bye." 

"bye." i was walking halfway leaving my siblings confused. 

"woah where you going?" Sarah asked catching up with me. 

"dinner." 

"who said we were gonna get dinner?" Laura then butted in. 

"no one said i was going for dinner with you guys?" i put my stuff in the boot. 

"you're gonna miss the cake cutting ceremony." 

"then wait till i get back?" i said getting in my car. 

"i'd rather cut the cake than wait for you to come back then cut the cake." sarah said. 

"well then,cut the cake with or without me,i dont really care. well maybe i do but figure that one out. see you at home." i smiled before driving off.
