Chapter 5

I went to school for a solid 2 weeks and then decided to go surfing instead of going to school. I clearly have my priorities set out straight. I was about to sneak out when my mum caught me.

"where do you think you're going?"

"where does it look like im going?"

"you're going to school today."

"but i went straight for 2 weeks! that is considered as effort!"

"Mr Evans told me you have an assignment to hand up today."

"fuck." i muttered under my breath. "fine." So i got back into my room picked out the dumb uniform and changed and went to school as per normal. I either slept or skipped my classes and my mum is not going to pleased to hear more complaints.

Its French now so I decided I'd skip and go for a smoke. I was already smoking half a stick when i heard the sound of leaves being crushed. Fuck fuck fuck im going to be so fucked. Then a familiar face showed up.

"did i scare you?" he asked sitting next to me.

"sure as hell you did."

"never learn do you?"

"what? this?" i said holding the stick in front of me. He nodded. I just shrugged. "everyone has their own little addictions. this is mine."

"you can't achieve your dreams if you keep smoking."

"what do you know about dreams?"

"i know nothing."

"exactly."

"but i do know what is yours and what you're doing right now is going to affect it really bad." I sighed.

"know me too well."

"you're the only person i care about."

"you're cute."

"you're cuter." he said putting his arm around me. I just smiled. I then drew in one last one before putting out the cigarette.

"now if you may sir,I have 2 more classes to go to before we get busted." I said standing up. "you coming?"

"im going to stay out here for a little longer."

"see you later? I guess?" I said walking away.

"see you." he smiled. And the rest of the school day was not bearable at all. I got to see him in between,maybe that made my day a little better. just a little.
