Seeing Spirits
Chapter 1
I always thought my life would be normal. Not once did it cross my mind that I could see other things that no one else in my family could even dream of seeing.
Most of my life I have been able to communicate with the dead. I am able to talk and see spirits and I've been able to do this since I was 5 years old.
At first I was scared because I didn't understand why I could see things my family couldn't but as I got older, I've found it easier to accept the fact that I'm psychic. The only problem about my gift is that I don't have any friends whatsoever.
Everyone thinks of me as a freak in my school and my parents ignore me all the time anyway so I have to cope with my gift by myself. It's sometimes hard but some how I'm able to pull through.
My name is Jessie Williams and this is my story about me seeing spirits.

Beep Beep Beep
Groaning I turned towards my night stand and shut my alarm off before pulling the blanket over my head.
I laid there unmoving until both my dogs Sadie and Teragon jumped on my bed trying to wake me up to let them outside.
Sighing I threw the blankets over my body and got up to let my two Weimaraners out.
Sadie is a short-haired Weimaraner and she would eat anything if I let her.
Teragon is a long-haired Weimaraner and she's pretty good about waiting until I'm ready to feed her.
I walked out of my room with both my dogs on my heels because they knew that I'd let them out.
I walked into the kitchen and opened the door and said "Go outside girls."
They both took off running out the back door and began playing with each other.
I chuckled and shut the door before turning around and coming face to face with my older brother Dillion.
Sighing I rolled my eyes and said "What do you want Dillion?"
He rolled his eyes and said "Nothing freak I'm just here to remind you that you better not talk to me at school. I don't want to be seen talking to the freakiest girl in school."
Hurt went through me as I looked at my brother and saw that what he said was serious. So instead of slapping him like I wanted to I simply said "Ok I don't plan on talking to you at school today, don't worry."
He rolled his eyes and walked off leaving me close to tears in the kitchen.
I had no friends except for my two dogs. They were the only one's who couldn't talk and it made me happy knowing that they wouldn't call me a freak or anything just because I can see spirits.
