The next page was us in first grade. "That was when you didn't cover your freckles with makeup." Alex commented before looking at his thumb which had pale foundation on it. "It was before you didn't wear makeup at all." He continued on.
~Come on, come on, come on!" I urged on the walk to school, and now I realize that my parents used me to seperate eachother while we were walking on the sidewalk. As we continued I saw a boy with dark brown hair and blue eyes. "Alex!" I yelled as I ran towards him and his family. Recognizing my voice he began to full on sprint towards me. When he reached me he put his arm around my shoulder and blabbed on about meaningless nonsense like how nice our teacher was supposed to be. We walked to school with our parents trailing behind us. Before entering school we were stopped and bombarded with pictures by our parents. We gave eachother a certain look before posing like this was a photo shoot. Teachers walk passed and chuckled. After hundreds upon hundreds of pictures we walked into school hand in hand. Walking directly into class we sat next to eachother at a four person table along with two other boys. "Ew a girl, she has cooties" One commented. "Girls do not have cooties Michael stop being immature." The other commented. I smiled at both of them before taking out my notebook and drawing abstract art. The day flew by and before we knew it, it was gone. "Best day ever!" Alex exclaimed and I nodded my head in agreement. We ran past the school gates walking home hand in hand with our parents trailing behind us.~
"Lets be honest here I said that every year. Aye look I'm a poet and I didn't even know it." Alex said and I giggled knowing it was true.
