Chapter 6

(Paseris)

I finished setting the table and making breakfast. The girls join us. While we were eating, I could see that Cipheris was too anxious to eat the pancakes I made. My threat worked! Muhahaha.

"Cipheris aren't you going to eat your pancakes?" I asked. I cut a piece of it and ate it. He looked confused and then started to eat.

After breakfast, we talked about the party. Everything was starting to get into place. We started to decorate my house. We had decided that our house would be better for the party. The party was in two days. Mom helped us decorate.

"Sweetie, I'm going to the Salgo District to help out the refugees of the war. Also, that way you could have the house for your party without me hanging around." She told me.

"Oh. Thanks Mom, but you don't have to leave." I say.

"It's alright. Those people need me. Just don't destroy the house. I want this place to be as good as new when I come back." She says.

"Ok. When are you leaving?" I asked. I didn't want her to be gone for a long time. She is always going out to help.

"I'm probably going to leave tomorrow afternoon." She says.

"Oh. Okay" I said, a little bit sad.

"Oh, don't worry my precious boy. I'll be gone for only a couple of days." She says trying to make me feel better. I give her a small smile.

"Oh! I have to give you something!" Mom says. I follow her up to her room. She pulls out a dark brown rectangular gift box. She pulled a white ribbon off. In the box, there was an old fashioned prince uniform.

"Here. This used to be your father's. He wanted to give you this for your birthday. However, he got stuck handling that horrible war. His father gave this to him when he was your age." She explains to me.

"Wow. Thanks, mom. This is... just amazing." I told her as I smiled.

"Now let's get back to that decorating." She says. We continue to decorate the rest of the day. The theme of the party was a Masquerade Ball type theme. The next day the gang and I gave my mom a small farewell breakfast. Then accompanied her to her ride. We all said our goodbyes and went back to my house.

(Violet)

"I'm so excited guys!" I say excitedly when we walk inside the guys' house. The decorations just looked beautiful.

"I know! I can't wait to dance and meet all those cute boys." Rose says all girly. Sometimes my sister can go too boy crazy.

"Yeah. If you're not too shy and wimp out at the last second." Cipheris responds to Rose.

"Hey! I'm not like that anymore! I'm a grown woman!" Rose yells back mad.

"Don't worry. Shilo will be there to kiss you." I say messing around.

"Ugh... Why did I have to say anything?" Shilo says defeated.

"Well sis, maybe after the party you and Paseris can go to the mall. And get in a dressing r-" Rose began.

"Hey what's that over there!" Paseris interrupted. Thank god for distractions.

"Nothing you psycho." I hear Cipheris answer.

"Sooo... how are we with food preparation?" I ask Sky.

"Good, I just need to make sure there is enough for all the people. The caterers said it should be done just in time for the party." She tells me.

"Ok. Fantastic!" I say.

"Yeah. Besides the food, we should be all set for tomorrow." Sky said with a reassuring smile. We all set up some minor details. My sisters and I stayed in the guest bedrooms. And we brought some necessities for a couple of days so we didn't have to run back and forth home. Tomorrow is going to be a day to remember.
