Chapter 33

(Pas cont.)

"Guys guess what!" Rose yells as she excitedly runs into the room.

"What?" We all say in unison.

"Louie said that he has a few free days to come for Salutation Week! And he said he'll take me to the dance!" Rose says excitedly.

"Oh my goodness, you're going to the dance with Louie! It's going to be so magical, and oh that's right... I don't care." Cipheris says, mocking Rose's excitement. He turns to Sky and she just has a disapproving look on her face. Violet and I laugh a little.

"Sorry, Rose." Cipheris says.

"It's fine. Jerkwad." Rose says.

"Ah, Jerkwad, a classic." Cipheris says.

"Anyways, I'm glad Louie is finally free to hang out with you, his fiancé." Sky says.

"He said he should be all cleared by the first week of December." Rose informs us.

"I hope so, you two are getting married in like two months." Violet says.

"Wow, by this time in two months, I will be married to Louie." Rose says with a smile.

"Where is Shilo?! I have to tell him right now!" Rose says.

"Maybe later, Rose. He's sleeping." I say. Poor Shilo.

"Yeah, you're right. He's going to be all grumpy... but I can't hold it in. I gotta go tell him." Rose says, hopping with excitement. She then zooms off to find Shilo.

"Shilo!" She calls out.

(Shilo)

I am awoken from my nap with a frantic shake. I get up immediately.

"What's wrong?" I asked still groggy.

"Hi." Rose says with a smile.

"Rose!? You freaked me out... Why did you wake me up?!" I asked confused.

"I have super exciting news." She says.

"What is it?" I ask tiredly.

"Louie is coming over for Salutation Week, and he's taking me to the dance!" She says excitedly.

"Wow, that's great." I say trying to sound happy. I feel like a glass house that was hit with a thousand baseballs.

"So do I still have to go to the sessions?" I ask.

"Yeah, Louie is only going to be here from that Monday until Friday. After the dance, he has to go back." Rose says.

"Oh. At least we only have two sessions left. Then you can have the real Louie." I say.

"Yes! I know right. But I'm still glad to have the real Shilo in my life." Rose says and smiles.

"I'm glad to have a Rose in my life." I say.

"Thanks. I'm gonna go find a good dress for Salutation week. I'll see you around." Rose says as she leaves the room. Every day I am with her I feel my heart grow more jealous, and she can't see it. I wish I could stop it, but I can't control it. Why did I have to go and let myself fall for her? There is nothing I can do, but put my feelings to the side and ignore them.

(Violet)

I see Rose come back.

"So, did you tell him?" Pas asks.

"Yeah... Hey, Violet, Sky, I'm going home to start looking for a good wardrobe line up for Salutation Week." Rose says.

"Alright." I say.
