(Rose)

Shilo and I kept staring at each other.

"Do you think this is working?" I ask.

"Maybe, but you just blinked so I guess I win." Shilo says.

"This isn't a game Shilo. When you mentioned Mrs. Lockheart, I remembered she said something about staring at each other to connect our souls. I guess it was crazy to think that it would actually make you remember me." I say.

"Oh, that's it." I hear him say.

"Hm?" I ask confused.

"That's how I remembered her. I remember her saying that." Shilo says.

"What made you think of that?" I ask.

"I guess I was staring at you that day." Shilo says nervously.

"Oh." I say.

"Not that I mean to sound creepy or anything, I just was probably trying to see if I recognized you somewhere in my mind." Shilo says as he scratches his head nervously.

"It's okay." I say.

"Can I just stare at you some more? If that isn't as weird as it sounds." Shilo asks.

"Sure." I say while I laugh a little. We stare at each other again.

"This seems intense." A familiar voice suddenly says.

"Louie!" I say excitedly as I turn to him.

"Hey, Rose." Louie says as Rose hugged him.

"Hello, Louie." I say as I stood up. I smiled and put out a hand for a handshake.

"Hi, Shilo?" Louie says and shook my hand. He seemed confused.

"You seem different." He says.

"I do?" I ask.

"Yeah, I don't think you've ever been happy to see me. I was starting to believe you hated me." Louie says.

"That's odd. Well, I did lose my-" I start.

"Attitude! He finally fixed his attitude and outlook on life. I'm sure he never hated you." Rose interrupts me.

"Rose I'm sure he can talk, himself." Louie tells her.

"I'm his life coach." Rose says.

"What?" I say. Louie looked just as confused.

"Shilo I need to talk to you real quick. Sorry Louie, but its life coach stuff. It will just take a minute." Rose says and takes me to a room.

"Rose, what's going on?" I ask.

"I didn't tell him about Sendemo, or that you lost your memory." Rose explains.

"Why not?" I ask.

"He's been going through a lot. I didn't want him to worry about me." Rose says.

"Rose, I think that's something you should have told him." I say.

"I know." She says.

"How about when we go out there you tell him. I'll be right there if you want me to." I say.

"It's just it's a lot. I don't know if it's a good idea." She says.

"You can't just keep things from him. You're going to marry him aren't you?" I say. She nods. We walk out to Louie.

"Louie, I have to tell you something about me and Shilo. I should have told you sooner." Rose says.

"Rose, I think I know what's going on." Louie says.
