Chapter 31

(Rose)

Shilo and I finally get to the Citadel, that name really stuck with us. As we enter there is a sign saying Welcome Home.

"We weren't gone that long were we?" I ask Shilo.

"It feels like we were there forever." He says.

"Oh hey, guys!" Sky says.

"What's with the banner?" I ask curiously.

"Oh yeah! You don't know. So, basically, right after you two left we received news that Lily finally decided to come live with us. She'll be here tonight." Sky says excitedly.

"OMG! She's coming?" I yell happily.

"I'm going to let you girls have your sister time." Shilo says and leaves.

"So how was the meeting thing." Sky asks.

"It was alright I guess." I respond.

"Was it awkward?" Sky asks.

"Just a bit. The lady who was over it, Ms. Lockheart, kept watching us." I explain.

"Wow." Sky says.

"So, where is Violet and the guys?" I ask.

"They are eating lunch. I was heading there too, I just had to go charge my phone." Sky says.

"I could really eat something." I say. We walk to the dining room and sit with everyone. Shilo had found his way down here also.

"So what time is Lily supposed to be here?" I ask.

"Mom and dad said about 8:00." Violet said.

"So we have like five hours?" I ask.

"Yup." Violet confirmed. We kept eating lunch and they'd ask me and Shilo about the session. When we all finished lunch we sat and started watching TV in the Great Chamber.

"I'm bored." I say.

"Me too honestly." Shilo says.

"You know this place would have been great to play hide and seek or tag." Rose says.

"Why don't we?" I suggest.

"Aren't we a little too old for that?" Pas asks.

"Aww, it would be like when we were six." Sky says.

"You know what I have a better idea." I say.

"Oh no." Everyone said in unison. I just look at them. I then run up to a room with all the video games and find a box. I bring it back to the others.

"What's that?" Pas asks.

"You will see in just a sec." I say. I open the latches and pull out some nerf guns.

"Nerf gun battle, anyone?" I suggest.

"I don't know, someone always got hurt." Violet says.

"I know you're referring to me, but I'm honestly not that clumsy anymore." Shilo says.

"I wanna play." Sky says.

"No, no you don't Sky. Last time Shilo and I had a nerf battle with Cipheris, he was brutal." Pas says.

"I think I can take him." Sky says.

"You think you can take me, the Game Master?"  I say.

"Yeah." Sky says confidently.

"Okay, this is how we are going to do this. Good old-fashioned boys vs. girls. If you and your sisters win then I'll give you all the title of Game Masters." I say.
