"How could you let her pull away from you! She loves you!" Skye screamed.
Jake was crying.
He was sobbing.
"We have been through so much, Skye! I just can't tell you," he looked away.
I pulled a little bit away from the door, thankful that they didn't hear me.
Skye's face was distraught. She looked like she couldn't handle much more of anything. That's when I heard her voice crack.
"I know, Jake. I know what happened."
