You know what?
I'm tired and done
This race has ended
And I didn't even run
You know what?
I'm angry and sad
You bailed after two days
Was I really that bad?
My prayers were not answered and I can't help but be mad
You know what?
I'm sick of trying
I act like I'm okay, but on the inside, I'm crying
Jeez, I'm spending all this time lying, denying
You know what?
I'm bounded and broken
All these years, wishing and hopin'
God, please, where's my good luck token?
You know what?
I'm tired of screaming
It may be silent, but it has the same meaning
I've done too much begging, I've done too much pleading
You know what?
I'm not winning, I'm losing
After all this, what am I proving?
This life is too real, and the time is consuming
But what do you know?
