Consoling Colby and Jon

Skye's POV:

I woke up to the sounds of sobbing coming from the other side of the room. I looked over to see Colby crying. Colby saw me and wiped the tears of his face. I got out of bed and ran over to him. 

"Colbs, why are you crying like this? What happened?" I asked. I cuddled with him as he buried his head in my chest as he cried. 

"It's.......it's Leighla." he said, sobbing. 

"What happened to Leighla?" I asked worriedly. Leighla was like a sister to me. I known her ever since Colby first started dating her and when they got engaged, they were over the moon.

"Leighla was cheating on me." he said crying harder. 

"What!! Why would she do that?" I asked him. 

"I woke up this morning to my phone ringing. I saw the caller I.D and it said Leighla. I picked it up and said hello but no one replied. I thought she might have accidentally called me. I......I was about to hang up when I heard her saying and as I quote, 'Baby the only reason I'm still with Colby is for the money. Once I get enough money to support you and me, I will dump him.'  My heart shattered when I heard that. I loved her with all my heart and she stabs me in the back like that." he said still sobbing heavily. 

"It's ok Colbs. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Maybe fate is trying to tell you that somewhere out there is an amazing girl waiting for you. Someone who will truly make you feel happy." I said. 

"Thanks Skye. I knew I could count on you for anything. You're the bestest friend ever." he said, hugging me. 

"I'm glad. Now let's see that smile." I said smiling. He smiled as I hugged him again. 

I got a text from Joe saying that he's been trying to call Jon for about an hour now and he hasn't been answering. I told Colby and tried to call him. He didn't answer. Colby suggested that we go to his room and check on him. We both got dressed and left for Jon's room.

When we got there, I saw Joe knocking on the door. 

"Morning baby." I said as I ran up to him. 

"Morning Cupcake." he said as he kissed me. I turned around and saw Colby with his face down, looking sad. 

"Sorry Colbs. I didn't mean to upset you." I said, hugging him. 

"Why would he be upset?" asked Joe. I looked at Colby and he gave me a look saying it was fine to tell Joe. 

"Colby found out this morning that Leighla was cheating on him." I explained. 

"Oh sorry man." said Joe. 

"It's fine." he said. "Let's just focus on getting Jon out of his room." 

"I've been knocking on his door for the past ten minutes but he won't answer the door." said Joe. I knocked on the door and said, "Jon, it's me Skye. Are you okay? Please open the door."

A few seconds later, I got a text saying that Jon wanted only me to go in his room. I showed the text to Joe and Colby and they said they'll go. Whilst they were walking away, I whispered to Joe to get him to try and get Colby's mind off Leighla. He nodded and gave me a quick kiss before he left.

I knocked on the door again. 

"Jon, it's just Skye here. Will you please open the door??" 

Then the door opened and I walked in. I closed the door and saw Jon. He looked terrible. His eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying. Suddenly, he buried his head in my chest as he cried. 

"Jon, what's wrong? Why did you want to see just me?" I asked. 

"I didn't want the guys to see me like this. They would've picked on me." he said. 

"Jon, they're your best friends. They wouldn't ever do that. They have gone through everything with you. They wouldn't make fun out of you. In fact Colby was doing exactly what you're doing now. He found out that Leighla was cheating on him." I said. 

"Really?" he asked.

"Yes. Now tell me what the matter is." I said, cuddling with him. 

"Paige broke up with me." he said sobbing. 

"Why?" I asked shocked. 

"She said that our relationship wasn't working out so well. She said she was losing interest." he explained. 

"It's okay Jon. You know what they say. Whatever happens, happens for the best. I'm gonna tell you what I told Colby. Maybe fate is trying to say that somewhere out there is an amazing girl waiting for you. Someone who will truly make you feel happy." I said. 

"Thanks Skye." he said, wiping his tears. "I'm glad you're my best friend. I don't know what I'd do without you." he said as we shared a friendly hug. 

"It's okay. Now let's see a smile." I said. 

Jon smiled and I hugged him again. 

"Good boy. Now are you ready to come out 'cause the boys were pretty worried about you." I said.

"Yeah." he said. 

"We'll all go out and have some fun today. Just you, me, Colby and Joe." I said. Both of my best friends were absolutely heart broken. I had to do something to cheer them up.
