Smackdown Tapings

Skye's POV:

It was finally time to go to the arena. The Smackdown taping lasted for about two hours so me and Joe had two hours left until we have completed the challenge. I actually can't believe that we've made it this far. I was walking to the Shield locker room since I was a part of the Shield and I was hoping that Joe wasn't in there so I wouldn't be tempted to talk to him. I knocked on the door and Colby answered it. 

"Hi Colby." I said. 

"Hi Skye. Come on in." he said. 

I walked inside to see Jon stretching for his match and Joe who was shirtless and doing some press ups. I couldn't help but stare at him. I'm sure Jon and Colby noticed because Jon said, "Skye, I see you like what Joe is doing. Do you want to say something to him about that?" he said smirking at Colby. 

"No I have absolutely nothing to say to him." I said. I couldn't help but smile though. I looked at Joe and he looked like he was about to crack. I shook my head at him to try and say to not do anything and he nodded meaning okay.

I went into the bathroom to change into my ring gear. I walked out and said bye to the guys before heading to the top of the stairs. My theme played which was the shield theme and I walked down the stairs as the crowd cheered. I waited for my opponent which was Nikki Bella. 

*Skip Match*

I hit Nikki with a Superman punch that Joe has been helping me with and she was out cold. I pinned her and won the match. I walked backstage and everyone gave me hugs. I looked at Joe and he gave me a thumbs up. I looked at the clock and there was one hour until Smackdown ended. I saw Colby and Jon whispering to each other and laughing so I went over to ask what was up. 

"Hey guys. What are you laughing about?" I asked. 

"Nothing, just guy stuff." said Colby. 

"Okay, keep me out of it then." I said laughing. 

As I walked away, I heard Jon say, "That was close." 

What did that mean? I shrugged it off and was heading to the shield locker room. Then I bumped into Dolph Ziggler. 

"Sorry about that Nick." I said. 

"It's okay Beautiful." he said. 

"Excuse me??" I said. 

"You know you're really pretty?" he said. 

"You know I'm taken??" I said. 

"Why are you with Roman when you could be with me??" he said, putting his hand in my shoulder. Why was Nick suddenly acting like this? He was happy when I got together with Joe. In fact, he was present when Joe proposed to me.

Joe's POV:

I was walking to the Shield locker room when I saw Nick with Skye. At first I didn't mind but then I saw him touch her shoulder and Skye looked very uncomfortable. I walked closer and heard, "Why are you with Roman when you could be with me??" 

Now I was angry. How dare he touch my fiancé like that and flirt with her when he knows she taken?? My blood started to boil and my hands clenched into fists. I walked over to Nick and pushed his arm off Skye. 

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I said. 

I pulled Skye close to me and asked, "Are you alright baby?"  she nodded.

Then I heard the laughter of Colby, Jon, Nikki and Brie. I looked at Nick and he was laughing too. They were all high fiving each other. 

"What is going on?" me and Skye both said. 

"We got you." they all said. I looked at Nick who was laughing.

"Sorry man. They paid me 20 bucks to do this." he said. "No hard feelings right?" 

Me and Skye both shook our heads. 

"So you guys set us up??" asked Skye. 

"Yeah." said Nikki. 

"We hate you guys." said Me and Skye. 

"You guys owe us dinner tonight." said Jon. 

They all walked away leaving me and Skye shocked. 

"I can't believe they did that." I said. 

"I've missed you." said Skye. 

"I've missed you too Cupcake." I said giving her a huge hug. We pulled away and I pulled her into a kiss. I missed kissing her too. We kissed like our lives depended on it. We pulled away a couple of minutes later. 

"I can't believe we made it this far though." I said.

"I know, I thought I was gonna lose it. Especially at the mall today." she said. 

"I know. I didn't know it was you who dropped the bag and when I saw your face, I felt like I was gonna lose the challenge right there cause I missed you so much." I said. 

"Me too." she said. 

"I love you Skye." I said. 

"I love you too." she said, as we kissed. We pulled away and intertwined our fingers together as we walked to the locker room.
